Il manque de musique latine au lobby. On aurait apprécié un peu de danse au lobby et de musicien qui joue de la musique du pays. Meilleur chambre difficile à obtenir sans payé un surplus malgré que nous étions déjà allé à cet hôtel. La nourriture est très bonne et il y a une belle variété. Ramassage des algues à la plage trop lent.

Des employés de l'hotel essaient de vous vendre toute sort des choses. À un certain point c'est dérangeant. Les restos "thématiques" ne sont pas tres bons mais le buffet excellent. Les mets mexicains superbes (venant de moi que je suis mexicain). Le service a la clientele super bon aussi. Le staff tres amical.

Une appréciation spéciale au personel de soutien qui garde le site très propre, incluant la végétation magnifique. Sur quatre restaurants haut de gamme, deux nous ont déçu quelque peu. Beaucoup d'algues sur la plage par endroits mais nous ne blâmons personne pour ce petit inconvénient naturel. Aussi, le personel fait des efforts remarquables pour la garder propre. Tous les buffets sont excellents, même meilleurs que certains restaurants. Le vin rouge maison n'est pas digne d'un site cinq étoiles et nous avons opté pour les vins à la carte. Douche: très grande variation dans la température (un détail mais que nous désirons porter à votre attention). Nous n'aimons pas les bars dans les piscines et nous vous laissons deviner pourquoi... Site fortement recommandé. Merci!

Bon hôtel. Très bon personnel. La gestion des navettes lobby-plage a revoir. Dommage qu’on prévienne pas les clients des travaux à venir, moitié de la piscine fermé pour travaux. Attention le week-end l,hôtel est envahie de clients locaux qui viennent faire la fête avec enfants. Pour la piscine, beaucoup de verres qui traînent et de nombreux clients qui n’hesitent pas à manger dans la piscine. Prévoir bouchons oreilles car la sono est très forte. Eau de la piscine un peu trouble et très chaude. Plage avec beaucoup de sargasses, dommage mais indépendant de l’hotel qui travaille énormément à la propreté de celle ci, ramassage pratiquement 24H sur 24. Le matin , les palapas ne sont pas toujours nettoyés, certain déchets traînent un peu partout ( a cause de clients non respectueux).

Très bel hôtel, entouré de nature et d'animaux. Personnel très souriant, sympathique et avenant. Suite junior spacieuse, propreté impeccable. Mention spéciale pour la plage nettoyée tous les jours, c'est vraiment génial de pouvoir se baigner sans algues. Literie à revoir totalement! Lit qui grince et matelas à ressorts très désagréable. Insonorisation zéro, on entend tout: les voisins, le couloir, les animations.... On est proche de la publicité mensongère.. Les restaurants "à la carte" ne sont disponibles que sur réservation et vous avez un nombre de réservations limitées (selon le nombre de nuits). Mais surtout! J'ai été extrêmement choquée de l'attitude de certains donc avis aux dirigeants, au personnel de la plage et aux clients concernant les animaux : n'oubliez pas que vous êtes chez eux, c'est vous qui devez vous adapter à eux et non l'inverse. PERSONNE n'est en droit de chasser les Coaties de la façon dont vous le faites. A ceux qui donne des coups de tongs, des coups de balais ou qui les attrapent par la queue pour les jeter plus loin, vous devriez avoir honte.

The place was amazing! The only things I would point out as issues would be the beautiful tile used that is slippery when wet. This is the case in the shower of the rooms and along the pool. Akaso, while there is ample transportation through the resort, if enjoying the walking trails, there were no areas to rest or relax.

Property was nice but very unclear about how to use facilities. Staff tried to upsell at multiple times. Not great if traveling with older family members. Food was average at best. Drinks watered down generally. My mother hurt herself on a recliner and staff were not very helpful. She also hurt herself getting off transport as the driver did not wait until she had fully gotten on off.

Everything was wonderful, and one of the reservation employees, Fernanda, was great! My only complaint is that our shower head didn’t stay up and we had to use one hand to hold it up. Beautiful location and great people.

Where do I begin. This was the worst all inclusive resort I have ever been to. The food was absolutely awful. Most was not even edible. You are only able to reserve a restaurant once every 3 days. They aren’t even worth it as the food is just as bad. The drinks were also terrible. The liquor was as bottom shelf as they come. There are I believe 4 other iberostar resorts on the property and this is the bottom of the barrel. I felt embarrassed to have on a blue bracelet. You are not able to use the pools or the restaurants for the other resorts. As you walk by them you will notice they are much higher end than Del Mar. this was not a cheap hotel either and the cost did not fit the quality. The golf cart that is supposed to run throughout the day just sits at certain spots so you end up having to walk almost every time. Both my dad and my keys didn’t work when we got back from the beach. They said it was because it was near a phone or a credit card but it was not near either. We went down to get a new key and when we came back mine was still not working. My dad tried to key that he had never taken out of the room and it did not work so clearly something else was going on. If you don’t get to the pool/beach by 9 AM, you won’t get a chair. The sign say that you can’t use towels to save a seat, but everyone does. The rooms were fine. They were nothing special, but they were clean. The only reason that I gave a two star instead of a one is because the staff was overall great.

My family had a great experience here. The grounds are beautifully laid out with lush vegetation and animals - flamingos, parrots, swans and coati (looks like monkeys). The interconnected pools flow nicely. Family friendly but adults can have a great time. Clean facilities and beaches. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant reservations were extremely limited so that might be the only thing they can improve on. However, it was spring break and honestly I realize now that I often prefer the convenience of the buffets and walk-ins over the reservations anyways. It would be nice if we could reserve a spot before we arrived because essentially we were given one option. I would definitely come again. My son made friends right away -as did we.

This was our 4th visit. The resort and staff are great. The food is mediocre at best. I’ve never seen so many hotdogs incorporated into food. It wasn’t a cheap resort either. Hibachi was really good. We will try a new place next time.
