Nous avons été a Iberostar de Cancun. Le sejour s'est tellement bien passé, que nous avions décidé d'annuler notre réservation dans un hotel concurrent, et réserver celui la. Sauf que malheureusement, nous avons été déçu a plusieurs niveau: - A commencer par le tarif: nous avons payé le même tarif a la nuitée dans les 2 (600€/nuit) on s'attendait au même niveau de standing, mais pas tout a fait!! - l'hôtel est situé dans une zone loin de playa del carmen (30min en voiture du port de playa del carmen). - le domaine est gigantesque, et dedans on trouve 3 a 4 hôtels, tous Iberostar mais de différents standing et c'est ce qu'on a pas apprécié: on a pas le droit de manger dans les autres restaurants "plus haut de gamme et avec beaucoup de choix" ni assister a leur spectacle. Je me sentais frustrée et je nai pas du tout appréciée leur manière de faire. - Dans les restaurants buffets, le choix de nourriture est vraiment limité et on mange presque tous les jours la même chose (surtout le midi) -- Le nombre de réservations des restaurants est limité a 2, au delà il faut payerencore !! Hallucinant (a Cancun, on a payé rien en plus. On a pu réserver pour les 4 nuits de notre sejour sans aucun supplément). - On se sentait harcelait par les pratiques de l'hôtel, spécialement la conciergerie située au hall d'entrée de l'hôtel, leur mission est de vendre des services en plus. - La palge et piscines ne sont pas nettoyés, on se baignait les feuilles d'arbres et la plge est envahi d'algues

le complexe de l'hôtel est immense, tout est magnifique et le service est vraiment top. Les espaces aquatiques sont nombreux et tellement idéal avec leur bar au bord. la plage de l'hôtel est somptueuse. et je remercie également Lorena, cuisinière au petit déjeuner toujours super souriante ainsi que Alejandra toujours au top et tellement gentille et Khatia et tout le personnel de l'hôtel qui sont tous vraiment sympa

Very rude staff - we were told we would be attending a "presentation"about the benefits of signing a long term arrangement with the resort. We were also told it'd be very brief/informal. Then we are joined by a sales person for breakfast who did not even let us finish our food despite us having 3 infants with us. Then we went to a room where the most aggressive sales pitch took place followed by subtle shaming after we told them we would need more time to think about their offer. Resort is awkwardly laid out and catered to heavily to their premium members. Would stay clear and go elsewhere. Only managed to get one a la carte dinner in in the 4 days I was there (again, spots reserved for premium members).

This is my 17th All Inclusive hotel I'd been to in the area. Overall, it was good. Location, facility, amenities. Some may have been slightly better, other slightly worse, so overall, average. Average, in my mind is not bad. The industry standards for these hotels are high. The 2 things that were most disappointing for me were food (average quality an variety) and kids club (staff had trouble connecting with kids and engaging)

Very limited food options. When we arrived for our 7 day stay we were told all the restaurants were out of reservations for the first three days. They also told us we were limited to three reservations for the whole week. The buffets had the same food every day and got boring. It was extremely hard to get chairs by the pool as most were reserved by 830 am. The lights and outlets turn off after 3 minutes of no movement in the room so you couldn’t lay in bed and watch TV or read with the light on. They restricted how low we could turn the ac. I will not return.

They are always trying to get you to upgrade and only allow 2 dine in the restaurants and told us it was in “the fine print” no food available for room service and 7 cans of soda or beer for a room a day ! No mini bar the sodas or beer are it !

A la carte dining was pretty good but make sure that your time in advance. Also, you cannot book all nights you want, it's limited based on the amount of time you spend at the hotel. We spent 7 nights and were able to book only 3 times at a la carte restaurants. Pools were cold, to the degree that even kids didn't want to be in the water. It was not enough chaise longs both at the beach and poolside. They have a ton of Balinese beds you can book for money ($20-30 a day depends on location) but they stay empty and take up the room where chaise longs could be. Long lines at the pool and beach bars. Cocktails were not good. The territory in large, very green and beautiful with a ton of wildlife - agouti, coati, peacocks, spider monkeys in one area. that was probably the best. The beach is good, no big waves no big rocks (but still some some be careful). There were some seaweed but not much and hotel personnel took pretty good care of it.

My husband and I booked Iberostar Paraíso Beach initially, but we ended up "upgrading" to a beach front room at Del Mar when we checked in. I did love our beach front room, the location ended up being perfect. We were close to the pool, beach, and the lunch buffet, nice and convenient. We were disappointed in a couple experiences, mainly the freezing cold pool and the nonexistent service pool side and beach side. Maybe we've been spolied at other all inclusive locations, as our prior experiences had wait staff pool side with opportunities to order food and drinks. At Iberostar you have to go to the bar for your own drinks and there are VERY minimal snacks at the beachside food shack, which you also need to go and serve yourself. If you're looking for more spoils perhaps this resort won't be for you. I can only speak for the resort we stayed at, as there are 5 resorts on the entire property, with three different levels. Maybe the higher levels would have better service? Overall we had a blast, we always do regardless. I would not book here again though, not at the lower level resorts anyway.

My first all inclusive experience.. so i dont have much to go by, but this was such a wonderful time! Staff were so friendly. Place was clean, except for a huge dead bug in my friends hotel room. Other than that, food was good, pool and beach were nice and clean, and the bars were well stocked and quick to serve us! Would definitely go again.

At first, we did not like this hotel since they charged us $580 for all-inclusive for one guest for 4 days. Before we arrived, we talked to Expedia and to the hotel management about the extra meals for my daughter. When I phoned the hotel, they acted like it was easy and nothing much to pay. When we arrived, their song changed. We made a mistake by selecting 3 people to stay with 2 beds and forgot to mention about the all-inclusive and booked only for 2 (all-inclusive meals). So, we had a bad start. However, this is a great hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. There are several dining options, and the food was great. We went out to the town only once and came back since there was not much to get since all the shops were catering to tourists and were way higher priced compared to other local shops. Since the hotel is so large, they provide golfcarts to give transportation. It takes almost 5-10 minutes to wait to catch a golf cart. Staff were friendly and nice; the rooms were clean. Whenever we needed towels, cleaning staff were there on the floor, and we could ask them for towels or to clean the room. .

Our family of 6 (4 teen/young adult kids) loved the beautiful property & beach, amenities, and extra shops area and Pablo & friends' activities! Our Christmas holiday & vacation was unforgettable and special! The pushiness for joining & paying $ & buying into Iberostar was a huge turn off; everything else was amazing!

We love this complex and the beach hotel but the rooms really need an update. The Dining, entertainment, beach and pools are outstanding but the rooms are in need of an update and seem rundown. There was a gross stain on the futon in the room. The AC was set to about 72 and no colder so it was hot and humid and must in the room. It’s tight for a family of four. We’ve been a couple times though and outside of the rooms it’s a great place and a good time. If we go again I may see if there’s a suite we can opt for.

We strive daily for complete customer satisfaction.We assure you that our Maintenance and Housekeeping departments follow a strict maintenance program in order to keep our rooms in tip-top conditions, however, we will pass on your comments to the proper department for their consideration.Also, it is worth mentioning that the temperature in our rooms is set to 22C and they work with motion sensors in order to reduce the environmental impact. We are proud to be an eco-friendly resort and we try to create awareness of our environment by making different ecological practices through our Wave of Change movement. We kindly ask our guests to call our Guest Service department so they can assist you to set up the AC to the lowest temperature. Likewise, we would like to thank you for sharing your observations and we hope to host you once again to create a memorable experience together.Sincerely,

The resort is big and is great for large parties/family trips, but was a little overwhelming managing around that for our party of 2 when it came to mass reserving of chairs with the large families, checking in for reservations etc. The food was okay, it was expected for an all-inclusive package. There’s a ton of wildlife around out in the open. I wouldn’t bother paying for cabanas as there is no system for it and you will walk up to random people sitting at yours with no staff around to dissolve the situation - you must wake up early for chairs in both pool and beach area. Overall it can be a great resort but should be mindful of your tolerance to large groups, children, wildlife, and cultural barriers.
