In the middle of an isolated desert oasis, rich with Native American rock art, is a 4-star mission style hotel complete with Tesla charging stations. The road from the border and back is smooth, paved and well maintained. Looking forward to staying again, soon.

I always stay here while driving up or down Baja. Nice large rooms, with a pool , and decent restaurant.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past and have been very satisfied This time the the property is showing its age. There is little attention to detail in the rooms which are tired and lacking. (Sinks not draining, toilet not draining properly, light bulbs missing) Overall the property was a disappointment this time.

This hotel is peaceful, beautiful. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and beds very comfy. I highly recommend.

EXTRA $40 for your dog !
This was our third time staying here. Very nice grounds and rooms. Good Air Cond. Great food in the restaurant with excellent service. We were disappointed that we were charged an additional 800 peso ($40) for our little 5 lb dog. We had never been charged before and this will affect our staying here again.

It's always a pleasure to arrive at Hotel Mision after a long drive. The surroundings in Catavina are special with the huge boulders and cirios (a cacti that only grows here). The staff are congenial, the restaurant and bar serve up tasty food and beverages. I always feel safe here.

First time back in 38 years ; this place is a little treasure in middle of no where . Room are comfortable staff was nice especially Tuan in the restaurant. Nice pool when the weather is warmer .

After driving 12 hours from the States, this was a wonderful respite from the road. The Mission is beautiful and historic. The rooms and beds were spacious, warm, clean, and comfortable. There is a heater. We had a lot of gear in our truck, and they have a person at the front desk all night and watched our truck for us with no issues. There is a restaurant, so we ordered yummy chicken mole for dinner and chilliquillies for breakfast. We will most certainly stay here again on our annual trip to Baja!

The rooms themselves are ok but the walls/doors are not well insulated at all. I could hear footsteps in my neighbors room, and all movement and conversations were obvious. I could also hear anyone walking and/or talking outside the room day or night.

Very comfortable and clean. Hot water, good food and friendly service. They charge $42 for your pet though. I thought that was a lot for an $89 room.

I had no idea what to expect, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! What a beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting. The service was great. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant; excellent food and service.

Unique and traditional in a beautiful setting. Food and service excellent and the staff very friendly. Relatively in the middle of nowhere, the hotel serves as an oasis for us after a long day’s ride. Delightful….!

It was a shock to see they changed their pet policy and it now cost $42 U.S. per pet to stay. It was near darl and many k. to the next town or I would have left. When I communicated to the hotel no one told me of this change

Spectacular to see the incredible sunset in the desert and wake up early to sunrise. Thankfully, the hotel served breakfast - the well-regarded cafe across the street was closed. The pool was a big disappointment, murky with dead leaves and algae. Nice to spend time in the bar at night, but it was not ok for the bartender to not have enough change so I had to tip about triple what I otherwise would have - kind of felt like highway robbery.

This is potentially a great stopover on trip down Baja but the rooms and hotels could use some updating. Nothing elaborate but internet service and pools were sketchy at best
