Very nice hotel with an excellent staff (Christian, Alex, J’aime and Luis) to named only them. It is a calm and small hotel. Perfect to wind down. Food was great, only down side is that there is only 4 restaurants, in which 2 offer a very similar menu. I would recommend this hotel.

Idéal séjour
Séjour très agréable avec un personnel au top et très serviable toujours souriant et à l’écoute. L’hôtel est très propre et bien entretenu avec un excellent confort.La restauration est variée et de qualité ( bon standing).Cette qualité de service nous accompagne jusqu’à la plage de sable fin qui se trouve à quelques mètres de l’hôtel.Ajoutez à tout cela calme +tranquillité +soleil =Séjour INOUBLIABLE

Très bel hôtel pour un séjour en amoureux
Très bel hôtel, décor moderne, plutôt de style zen. Personnel au top, très gentil, toujours prêt à aider. Les chambres sont belles et spacieuses, les lits sont incroyablement confortables !! La formule all inclusive est très agréable et propose de la nourriture et des boissons à longueur de journée, on ne manque de rien, il y en avait beaucoup plus que ce qu il nous fallait ! Les restaurants proposent une carte variée et élaborée. Nous avons eu un souci de climatisation dans notre chambre (fuite du condensa dans la nuit), la direction nous a donné une chambre d un niveau supérieur (superbe !). Quoi qu il en soit, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, surtout les animateurs d activités et de sport Ernesto et Rommel.

Good but not the best and Playa Mujeres...
The service was good Isabel - Susanna - Jared The food is corect but the plates are cool.... The resort is to small Only 4 restos No french and Italien restos....WHY Beach is nice but to many objects blocking the view... Section 1 is to noisy for old people... Excellence at Playa Mujeres is definitely better Martin Blanchard

This property was a real disappointment. We had the last 4 nights of our honeymoon booked at Beloved and we wish we had just stayed next door at Excellence for the whole time. The entire stay was strange. We arrived and had the most incredible couples massage and then got to our beautiful room with minimal air conditioning. We had to call 5 times and have multiple people come out over two days to try and fix the AC that was unfixable at the time. The situation was handled beautifully and professionally and we were upgraded to a different room for the next two nights. That room was unbelievable but unfortunately that night the restaurant also had no AC. The following night we walked down to dinner at the beach where we waited over an hour to get mediocre food and the entire time we felt like the food was not as good as next door at Excellence. The next day we had to move rooms again and that room was also warm. If you’re booking a two story Casita, just know that the AC doesn’t work that well. It’s probably the way they are designed but it was too hot for us. The last night we were there, they rolled out the red carpet for us and had the Chef cook us our own meal at one of the restaurants and that meal wasn’t as good as any of the meals we had next door. It felt like a mix of being forgotten about into over compensating for our poor stay. Overall we won’t be going back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fabulous! The resort is small so you can conveniently walk to everything the property has to offer. They have three pools - one with a swim up bar. The other two pools are definitely a more relaxing atmosphere. We loved the hospitality of all the staff members! Definitely suggest visiting if you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway!

The food at every restaurant was surprisingly good. We spend most of our time at the swim up bar where the bartenders were awesome. Overall, the staff was awesome everywhere. Definitely worth the trip!

Loved the staff. Very friendly and hard working. They will bend to your needs even though it may be a unique request. We forgot to book our couples dinner and we were supposedly too late. But they ended up making arrangements after having to call 2 other depts. Front desk staff was wonderful and kind to work with.

The staff is welcoming and top-notch! The penthouse suites were out of this world. Food was 8.5/10 and cocktails a 7/10 (make sure you go to the lobby bar, they have the best mixers and spirits). Of course, the beaches are gorgeous, although water is not as crystal clear as some other locations. Still a wonderful experience and I hope to go back again!

Not a party vibe resort. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a book reading resort once a year, Beloved is not an "Excitement" resort, it's a relaxing resort with EXCELLENT street tacos for a lunch option. Awesome service, Alex, Benito, Claudia on beach. We did pay to go over to the Lobster house at sister property, FIRE and Vibe was Fire! Excellence is the party resort so keep that in mind. Beloved is couples only going with additional couples would definitely be fun. Most of the people there have been numerous times. There will always be condescending and petty people at all inclusives and this one had its share. For example giving a dollar tip and expecting the server to praise them for the buck! I tipped everyone $5 not because I'm rich, because they were courteous and working hard to make sure I felt on vacay! The entertainment was okay, Excellence was more our speed, the night over there helped us understand that was more our speed, we are in our 50s and love to have fun drink and listen to music on vacay Excellence provides that. Beloved is a BOOK reading resort please keep that in mind when booking, the pools are boring! That's not a bad thing if that's what you want or expect.The people that work there as well as management are top notch. Still a 5 star experience, but we wanted the party vibe. Golf course is beautiful, not worth $190 if I had a caddie then yes. But your liquor at airport, TRUST ME!

Romantic quite relaxing! We spent a week in April. Pools were refreshing a little cool for me in April but to be expected. We had the best time in 30 years of going to Al inclusive. Maybe the mind set your in but this place lends itself for time spend with your partner. Restaurants hard to get into at 7 so go early or late. A little music at night at the front but don’t expect a show or bar action at night. A good thing to me but if you want more action EPM would be better choice next door. You get to go there for dinner one night. Loved it at Beloved!

This is the most amazing property I have eve been to! You cannot be spoiled more : ) Relaxing and beautiful we were pampered beyond measure. The customer service goes above and behond, down to the tiny details like putting your napkin on your lap at the restuarants. You cannot ask for more at an adult all inclusive and we hope to make this an annual trip!

Hotel is super peaceful, amazing staff and food is great. Outside of the hotel there is nothing for 40 minutes also the TC in the room faces the couch and you can’t see it from the bed which is a huge bummer if you want to cozy up and watch a movie etc

This boutique resort was the perfect place for my husband and I to get away and enjoy peaceful moments. It is a beautiful setting with extraordinary staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable, feel welcome and happy. They are so kind. While all were excellent, a few special stands outs were Guadalupe at the Taco Truck, Fernando on the beach service, Michel at the pool bar, Vivianne the masseuse, Nolberto at the lounge bar, Octavio for the hydrotherapy and Jaime at La Isla restaurant. They went out of their way and deserve special recognition and thanks. The only thing we did not like was the music trivia and electric violin at the main pool. While it only happened once, it was loud and seemed intrusive to what was meant to be peaceful and relaxing. We chose this resort to avoid those loud experiences that encouraged many to drink in excess, leaving one patron sick in the pool from doing so.

This was our 6th time at a Excellence property. Service was great and super clean. Really great place. Look no further if you are in doubt. My only negative and I will tell you most people will roll their eyes, and I don't blame you, but the wine is terrible. It's a $4 bottle. Would it be that hard to serve $10 bottles? We do pay $600 a night? Yes, you can pay extra for a better bottle but should you have to? Anyway, it's a great place and we will go back!
