Un paradis bien caché mais avec des vices cachés
Un site exceptionnel, des serveurs qui rendent votre séjour des plus agréables et d’une véritable gentillesse. Les cours de yoga avec Suzy m’a donné le goût d’en faire de retour chez moi! L’hôtel devrait le promouvoir plus. Le service est exceptionnel, les tortillas frais du jour et la plage est magnifique (pas d’algues). Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et ils respectent l’intimité des gens. Points négatifs: Notre chambre était belle mais petite. Aucun surclassement ne fût offert par l’hotel, même s’il n’était pas occupé à 50%. Une cafetière dans tous les catégories de chambre est un minimum pour ce type d’hotel! Nous pensions que c’était un resort pour adultes seulement mais avons été surpris par des couples avec des enfants qui criaient constamment dans la mer et pleuraient de fatigue le soir! Nous n’avons rien contre et nous en avons aussi, mais nous n’allons pas dans ce type d’hotel avec eux. Nous souhaitions un voyage de repos. Je suggère qu’il fasse des sections pour enfants et pour adultes seulement! Malgré tout nous allons voudrions y retourner...

Charming and Authentic
Great staff, charming rooms with nice hammock on patio. The included breakfast is just fantastic. All food is well thought, prepared and of super quality just like everything at this place. Pricey, but very charming.

Wonderful view, customer service, and hotel. We rode out hurricane Zeta but we still enjoyed our stay. This is the place to stay if you want to feel like family.

This was my third visit to the Maroma and I know I'll be back again soon. It is beautifully built and landscaped, the food is wonderfully prepared and varied, the staff is friendly and more than helpful, the rooms are lovely, the beach is perfect. Everyone works hard to make it as beautiful as it always is. My favorite thing? Seeing the sunrise over the beach. The jungle view from our terrace. Another favorite? A big dish of guacamole sitting at the bar in the late afternoon. Least favorite thing? Several loud children playing in the pool late at night. (This was never a problem during previous stays) An adults-only policy would be welcome. Thank you to everyone!

Belmont Maroma is amazing! I have already looked into going back and we haven’t even left here. The food was fantastic which is always a big concern for me when traveling to Mexico as I’ve had bad experiences at an all inclusive resort in Mexico before. The food at Belmont was fantastic! Overall we had a blast and can’t wait to return.

It's a large property with extensive grounds and facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and the room rate we paid was reasonable. However, the food and drink prices are out of this world.

We had an excellent stay except for the air conditioning of our room, apparently the A/C units are old or stressed out because of climate and on our second night ours broke, but the staff was very helpful they moved us to a neighboring room for the night sleep while their staff work on the AC units, and by the morning it was fixed. Staff was nice enough to send us an apology letter with a small gift for the inconvenience. Other than that the hotel and its staff is wonderful, the quiet and beautiful location combine wonderfully with all the hotel facilities. Their spa treatments are always great, plus the restaurants give you excellent choices, and the highlight is Freddy's bar in front of the beach.

Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.

Second Honeymoon
I have stayed at nice hotels before, but the Belmond Maroma really was heads and shoulders above the rest. Everyone on the staff was truly amazing. From the beach waiters to bartenders to the desk service, recreation services, the hotel really sets a standard for great customer service. I can't say enough good about the place. There was nothing about the place that was not excellent.

Ono of the best resorts in the world! In my opinion. The staff is just unbelievable! The spa is first class. The food is exceptoonal!!!! The resort is very secluded and with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We have been going every year and can not wait to go back!!!

Amazing Property on Spectacular Beach
Location is perfect, on an undeveloped stretch of Maroma Beach, spared from development overtaking the rest of the coast. Elegant and low key, the rooms are lovely, the staff genuinely friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is amazing. Our second stay, I highly recommend. The only quibble I had was that the kitchen could up it's game at dinnner, some dishes were perfect (scallop cerviche for examaple) while other dishes were pedestrian. Overall I think Belmond Maroma is the finest property on the Mayan Riviera.

Relaxing spot with a beautiful non crowded beach.
The hotel and its amenities are excellent. Service is impecable and the people sorking there are the kindest. If you're looking for a classy hotel far from the hussle and noise, this place is the best. The two rests are so nice, the beach is beautiful, spa is amazing. Gone with kids and without, both experiences were great.
