Such an amazing experience! My friends and I enjoyed Riu Palace Kukulkan. From the moment we arrived, the staff and their hospitality were wonderful. Nacho at the front desk was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. The rooms were contemporary and had great amenities. Upgrade to an ocean view - it’s totally worth it! The food was good, although some of the a la carte restaurants are better than others. Our favorites were La Casa de Las Flores (Mexican) and their amazing fish tacos and Sunakku (Japanese). Although, the buffet is really where it’s at. Delicious options, no matter if you’re feeling breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Andrea and Azaheal with the dinner service staff are so nice to talk to and very accommodating. Tell them David, Nicole, and Lydia sent you. This resort has four pools and you will find great service at each other. One of the servers, Armando, is super friendly and always making sure you’re taken care. The beach connects right from the property and a great view of the beautiful blue ocean. The waves were a bit rough, but we swam where we could. You’ll notice lots of seaweed as well, which was a little annoying to deal with. At night, there are some shows but I feel entertainment could be better here. Kareoke night and the Mariachi band were some of our highlights. If you’re looking to pamper yourself a bit, the Renova Spa on-property is fantastic! The staff were wonderful and I had one of the best massages ever. We will be back to stay here again soon!
