Spacious hideaway with stunning harbour views
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.
The space -
The house is situated on top of a ridge, with stunning views overlooking the Manukau harbour. Surrounded by native bush and birds with all day sun. 30 minute drive to Auckland city and international airport. Close walk to French Bay yacht club and Titirangi Beach with a short 5 minute drive to Titirangi Village. Piha famous surf beach and popular tourist destination is less than a 30 minute car drive.
We also have a small black cat called Benji. He likes to spend most of his time outside. He has a bed and biscuit feeder under the house. For stays over a week I will put him in a care. However for stays shorter, if Benji could be an issue for any reason please let me know and I will be happy to pop him in a cattery.
This is our family home, when the house is booked out we will have alternative accommodation arrangements. From my family to yours, please treat our home with respect. Thank you.
Guest access -
Access to the house is up a driveway with room at the top to turn around and park two cars. Due to the views and location of the house the driveway is quite steep. Please drive slowly and in low gear and your car will make it up easily. There is a set of 6 stairs at the front and the back entrance of the house. The back staircase has a strudy hand rail.
Other things to note -
Please note I have one security camera located at the back entrance of the house. This is only for live feed security purposes. If you have any concerns with this, please let me know to discuss other options. Thank you  IMPORTANT ACCESS INFORMATION! (Please Read Carefully):
Due to essential roadworks, the main access road to the property will be closed during weekdays starting 11 March for approximately 8–10 weeks (possibly several months).
The road was damaged in a cyclone three years ago and is now being fully replaced to ensure safer and improved access long-term.
🚗 When You Can Access the Property:
The road will be OPEN on weekends only during the following times:
Friday from 5:30 PM (road reopens)
Open continuously through the weekend
Monday until 8:30 AM (road closes)
There will also be a midday exit window from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM on Monday
This means our property is currently best suited for weekend stays (Friday evening to Monday 8am or 12pm)
