« Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub. Good bar on site. We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues). Would return. »

« Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend. »

« This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

« This is a lovely property, so well equipped, so many items which we have usually had to take wit us or buy on arrival are provided. The weather when we were there was quite wet for some of the time and also chilly but the cottage was always warm. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Add to that the lovely welcome gift awaiting us was most generous. The countryside in the area is beautiful, lovely views from the property and good walks close by.
