« We had a great stay at Rum Doodle, a friendly welcome on arrival we were shown to our room. We stayed in Wish, which was clean, well equipped and we loved the quirky decor and nice village views. Great shower! The only minor issue we found was the 4-poster bed was quite creaky, and some noise from other rooms but that's just the nature of the building, and it was very quiet overnight so we slept well. « Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area. »

My room was comfortable and roomy with a full bath, including tub, and a beautiful view of the fells when the weather was clear. Anita and Denis are great hosts - warm and welcoming.
