« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. « Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening.
