« The hotel is old and looks neglected .The rooms are clean and functional, nothing more. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar area is nice and spacious with a good selection of food and drinks. Breakfast is definitely the highlight with a good selection of continental and hot food. The service was good. « Nice hotel , nice garden with places to sit in among the ducks. Clean rooms . Bit unsure on how to get into the model village on site , no information on it anywhere. Got to the gate only to find you needed a ticket from reception which is a good way back up hill so didn’t bother. Sign at reception would have been a good idea. Lovely receptionist when we checked in but the one in the morning was so miserable, never smiled and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there . Having said that...
