« We stayed in room 1B in the Vernon Place Courtyard. Was a really convenient location right in the town centre, so all the shops and amenities that location offers. Excellent communication from our host and plenty of easy free overnight parking nearby in the council car parks (free after 8pm till 8am or 10am on Sundays at time of review) . It seems obvious in hindsight but only feedback is the images on Hotel.com and other sites are a mixture of all the different rooms they manage in that...

Les chambres sont assez spacieuse et la literie confortable, même si cela semble un peu vieillot...(c'est peu être à la mode en Angleterre..?) Toutefois, pour ce tarif on y est bien mieux que dans une chaine d'hôtel style F1... Bref pour un séjour sans se ruiner sur Durham et sa région, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! »

« The cottage is small but adequate for 2 people. Stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep. A little bit challenging to bring suitcases to 2nd floor. Great central location, very quiet at night »

« Great little find. Small cottage but as described. My husband and son are tall, so they had to be careful when using the stairs, due to low ceilings but a lovely property and garden. Small Tescos and One Stopat the end of the road (2 min walk) Takeaways within 15 mins walk (fish & chips, Chinese, Indian...) Found a lovely forest walk around 10 mons drive away and the coast was also only 10 mins drive. Would be totally happy to stay again. »

I would definitely book here again if I found myself going back to the Cotswolds! By far- this has been the best rental we have booked! »
