« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. « This is a lovely property conveniently located on a hill overlooking Keswick and near the many attractions in and around Keswick. Our room was substantial with a comfortable bed and sitting area. Breakfast was tasty and varied, eagerly accommodating a special request. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Definitely recommend and would stay here again on a return visit. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »
