« Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

« Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush. »

« Nice apartment (Big), perfect location. Clean and tidy Parking is confusing as theres a space for no.2 but we're told have to move by 9:30? »

« There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery! »

« Good location just a couple of minutes from the lakeside. Parking place certainly helps in this popular location. Clean, comfortable property that has everything that you would need. »

« Small rooms »

« Convenient location close to train station, bus departures, supermarket and start of shopping and restaurant streets. Small room with adequate ensuite and character to decoration. »

« Fantastic location so close to the restaurants, shops and lake. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Great communication from the host. Will be booking again. »

« Perfect find and very central to everything, highly recommended and the host made everything easy, from finding the place to all questions I had.. perfect getaway stay, thank you »

« Good location positioned less than 1 mile to Windermere town centre or the lake at Bowness. 20-30 yards to regular bus service to Iimmediate areas as well as Kendal/Keswick/Grasmere. Parking is a nightmare, as while there are spaces near the property they were constantly occupied or reserved with parking cones. We managed to get parked nearby eventually but used the bus to get around so we didn’t lose the space.Building entrance is easily accessible direct from the kerb but was very unkempt....

« We loved the location as Coniston is not so touristy and still very scenic. We loved the size, layout, quality of furnishing and white goods in the flat. There is everything needed for self catering but very good pubs and coffee shops close by. Highly recommend High Wythow »

« Grasmere is great place to book stay. Oakbank property was great and we had everything we needed to stay with comfort. The parking space is tight if you have bigger vehicle pr sedan car. »

« Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am. »

« Great comfy place in great location. Nice finishings and super clean. »

« Great property which actually has views of the lake and is ideally situated - close to everything but also quiet. The property was immaculately clean with all the utensils that you need for cooking. Lovely clean, fresh bedding and towels. Tea, coffee and sugar were provided along with the basics like salt, pepper and oil. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were also provided. Only slight criticisms would be not a great deal of storage available for food and it would be nice if a few coathangers...

« Super apartment, just off the main road so nice and quiet. Well stocked with cooking equipment , great shower and comfy beds to boot. Very clean and would recommend staying again. »
