« We had a wonderful time at Casa Tortuga! Perfect location and space for our 10 guests ranging from ages 15-45. Samuel and Marisola are angels from heaven that made our stay very memorable and special!! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and had great family connection time. Every meal was delicious and the housekeeping made it a very relaxing trip!There are many nearby Cenotes and ruins that are worth visiting.We will definitely come back but not in sargasso season! »

« Our stay at Mereva hotel was exactly what we needed. This boutique hotel was right on the beach, we had breakfast with our feet in the sand in the morning, could go snorkeling right in front of the hotel (the hotel provides canoes, fins, water shoes…), the service was great, the hotel and the area are very quiet and you can even go to a mangrove Cenote where a crocodile lives 2mn walk from the hotel. »

"We had numerous issues Security i had a live scorpion that climb my arm while reaching for my clothes on a shelf The staff ride their golf cart around the property really fast and twice my wife and i had to go on the grass while the golf cart drive without slowing down on the path The documentation mention elevator but ours was not working and our room was on the third floor On the first day they had to ask everyone to come out of the pool because someone pooped in it We waited 30 minutes for a shuttle but it never came and the property is quite large On the positive side room were clean other then critters like scorpions The food in the was pretty good And the options on the buffet were quite interesting And the staff other then the one driving the golf cart were all very nice and friendly Special mention to the barman in the bar the black sheep that went above and beyond to put our playoff NHL temp on the big screen "
