« Great location. Perfect place to drop our bags and rest our heads for the night. Nothing fancy, but we appreciated having a place that allowed a one night stay. »

« We got in late, the lights in the parking area not working and such limited parking left, it was almost impossible to get our car in. The rest of the stay was fine. We Loved hearing the tree frogs and is close to the National Park. »

« Very clean & nicely decorated, however would sacrifice adorement for more functional surfaces. No normal upholstered chairs & kitchenette very difficult to function in. Internet marginal for working vacationers & didn't recall ceiling height in loft being mentioned (too low to stand up) Hot tub was a real bonus yet having dry towels was a challenge. Great location for National Volcano Park but pretty far from beaches. »

« Amazing location along the "Red Road". We spent time every day on the lava rocks by the ocean. No way to go into the surging ocean along this coast line, we had to go to other parts of the island for beaching. We enjoyed the culture here, Uncle Robert's, the Star of the Sea Painted Church, whales moving through MacKenzie Park etc. It's definitely a quieter part of the island, and we did have to drive greater distances to get to Volcano Land and Kona etc. But if you're looking for the local...

« We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was peaceful, private, and a great place to relax while exploring the area. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We especially loved the beautiful surroundings and how well-equipped the home was. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Hawaii! »

« The unit was clean and well equipped for us to relax, make many of our own meals, and get good nights sleep. We were worried about bugs when we saw many windows didn’t have screens, but that didn’t prove to be a problem. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. »
