« The location is wonderful, very convenient to Volcano National park We enjoyed being able to see the volcano at night. The grounds were beautiful and directions from the host made it easy to find the place. Just be aware that the room is quite musty and everything was damp (sheets, towels). If you're sensitive to that, like we are, you might prefer a different place. »

« We got in late, the lights in the parking area not working and such limited parking left, it was almost impossible to get our car in. The rest of the stay was fine. We Loved hearing the tree frogs and is close to the National Park. »

« This was one of the best VRBO's we've stayed at & we travel a lot! Tara & Steve thought of everything! The place is very private, like your own little oasis. It's decorated so cute. Lots of attention to detail. Easy to find on GPS. Nice sitting area with TV. Could be used as a second bedroom. There are privacy curtains. The bed was very comfy. Plenty of pillows. Lots of space to hang clothes plus plenty of drawers for clothes. Nice bedside tables with drawers also. The bathroom was great. Shower...

« Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone.
This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town).
