« Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »

« Check-in and check-out were perfect. The beds and furniture were super comfortable. It was truly a tropical oasis to enjoy our time between visiting the volcano and the falls in Hilo. The cats made the stay even sweeter as they perched themselves on the lanai. Christina was a very attentive host and gave us lots of good ideas. We enjoyed walking to the cliffs at both sunrise and dusk for our zen with the waves crashing on the cliffs. It was such a nice change from the more touristy...

« I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a month while we relocated from Ohio. The owners were easily accessible and very kind. The house was clean and fully stocked. The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. I would recommend this place especially if your looking for something off the beaten path. »

« Had a very pleasant stay at Jenipher and Davidʻs home. Jenipher communicated well and responded to all questions/concerns. The studio was fully stocked with amenities galore! Very clean, inviting and peaceful. I heard the coqui frogs at night but didn’t mind or lose sleep over it. Loved the interior local decor and cool relaxing colors. I was allowed to bring my cat too (I brought my own kitty’s supplies) which I appreciated very much! »

« We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer had we had the time. The cottage and property were absolutely beautiful, offered everything we needed, and Laurel was a lovely hostess. The breakfast with fresh fruit grown on site was a perfect way to get acquainted with Hawaii. We had to google what some of the fruit was and how to eat them. So much fun, and super fresh and delicious. Great experience! »

« As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. It’s close to a beautiful black sands clothing-optional beach, and otherwise there’s not much to do out there. It’s not the best jumping off point for lots of island touring, but it’s the perfect spot...

"Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Sol de salle de bain trÚs glissant. Chambre donnant sur le parking et un arbre rempli d'oiseaux qui chantaient a longueur de journée. Réfection de chambre trÚs tardive (aux alentours de 17h). 2 restaurants sympas dans l'hÎtel. 2 salles 2 ambiances aux alentours de l'hÎtel : l'une avec parc et promenade super agréable et l'autre avec bùtiments abandonnés et squats."
