« Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily.
The rooms was pretty big, confortable and clean. The communication with the owner and our arrival was easy.
We were warned by email that the weather could be chilly because of the rain forest. We were ok, but everyone should be aware that it was about 12 to 15 Celsius early mourning.

« Volcano Village Lodge est un petit établissement bien placé, proche du parc national Volcano.
TrĂšs au calme au cĆur de la rain forest, nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour.
Il dispose en plus dâun jacuzzi accessible facilement.
Seules dĂ©ceptions de notre cĂŽtĂ© : lors de notre arrivĂ©e une trĂšs gentille dame nous a informĂ© que nous pouvions accĂ©der Ă la rĂ©ception pour venir se reposer, prendre un cafĂ©, manger quelques snacks⊠sauf quâelle nâest jamais ouverte. Nous y sommes allĂ© Ă plusieurs...

« My family and I loved our stay! Host was very communicative, the property was clean and well taken care of. Good location between things to do on the island. My only suggestion would be to bring ear plugs for the chickens at night . We would 100% stay here again. »

« Hapuu room is a magical and very cozy spot with an intimate view into giant ferns and forest. The other guests in adjacent cabinswere very charming. We were all checking in at dark in heavy rain â note, the driveway is dark driveway and coming from Hilo and Jade Street, it is technically the second last on the right from the Ruby Street end of Second Street (the last driveway is a yard) â we were bumbling around but eventually took a dive and walked down into the dark and it was the right place...

« Great communication with host. Fun and unique stay in the yurt. Clean, with comfortable queen bed and good amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Quiet environment high on the hill. Shower and two toilets within the yurt. One toilet is an incinerator (for going #2), which took a little getting used to, but was easy to use.Highly recommend for younger couples. »
