« We recently stayed at this property for several days and had a really nice experience. The check-in process was smooth for the most part, and the directions provided were clear. However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. « This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place! »

« Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily. The rooms was pretty big, confortable and clean. The communication with the owner and our arrival was easy. We were warned by email that the weather could be chilly because of the rain forest. « Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful! Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet. »
