« The coqui are LOUD! The bed was fairly hard. The shower was tiny with only luke warm water. Alex was a great host, communicated well and even walked to the end of the road and helped us find his place in the dark. If you’re only planning to sleep here it’s ok (be mindful of the first 2 sentences). Otherwise “lounging comfortably” is not an option - bed and 2 dining chairs. Location was good. Not too far away from Volcanoes NP, and near enough to Hilo. »

« This place has no A/C and nowhere on the description does it list this. I came to Hawai'i to be comfortable, not stiffled nightly by humidity. The owner refused a partial refund for a 2 week stay after I expressed not wanting to stay here. I didn't expect a full refund, but at least half would have been nice. Never again using this app or service. »

« We recently stayed at this property for several days and had a really nice experience. The check-in process was smooth for the most part, and the directions provided were clear. However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. « I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. »
