« The site where the lodge is situated is small and was quiet this week. The view of the lake and surroundings is beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the benches that are dotted around and take it all in. Even though we hit 2 days of dreadful weather I was happy enough to stay in the lodge and read, watch tv, relax etc. It was easy enough to get to and from Keswick and, had it not been for the awful weather, I’d have explored further. »

« We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again! »

« Really good cottage only about 2 mins walk from centre of Ambleside. Had everything you need for a nice simple stay in the lakes. Great views from the front room over the hills. They’ve just had a car parking space put in which is very handy. Great communication with owner throughout. Would definitely come back. »

« Just returned from a week at Richmond House, where everything has been renovated to a high specification, which makes it a great holiday home. The kitchen is well equipped with quality brands. All the wardrobes and bedroom fittings have been well thought out. Big walk in shower and large free standing bath. Again all the bathrooms have been fitted and finished to a high standard. « Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners. »
