« Room was clean and tidy, staff were friendly. Perfect locale for catbells with nice country pub down the road less than 5 minutes away and close to the lake. Breakfast was definitely worth it. Enjoyed my stay. »

« We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point.
Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well.
Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting.
The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated.
Definitely recommend 10/10 »

« Our stay at the castle was fabulous. The staff were excellent to deal with and the facilities are stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to have access to launry facilities.
The room was nicely finished and very large. I highly recommend the Muncaster Castle and our only regret was not budgeting enough time to fully enjoy all that is available. »

« The care and hospitality began the moment I arrived. It was immediately obvious how much thought, attention and pride had gone into both the property and the guest experience, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout.
I booked the standard double room, but there was nothing “standard” about it. The room was exceptionally spacious, beautifully decorated and felt both comfortable and luxurious. Towels and toiletries were plentiful, and everything was explained clearly on arrival,...
