Nos maisons d'hôte de charme à Buttermere

« This is an old interesting building so you have to take that into consideration, Room was clean, staff very helpful, food very good . Parking is not a problem but be careful of the access. All in all an enjoyable stay, recommended. »

« Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay. »

« The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back. »

« Lovely breakfast. Very clean room. Hosts were personable and professional. »

« Host was absolutely brilliant, nothing too much bother. Has a small kitchen to use. We were on motorbikes and the host was helpful in getting our gear dried as much as possible! »

« We loved the huge room, lovely sofas, great kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, etc. The castle and grounds were beautiful, the owls adorable and the games fun. Fantastic stay - highly recommended. »

« Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space. »

« Seul inconvénient : cette ville n'a pas de numéro de porte et comme la rue devient sens unique, nous avons tourné en rond. Sinon le service est impeccable. Personnel souriant . »

« Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...
