« Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. « This was a wonderful house in a wonderful location. Almost magical-views out every window, well stocked. A virtual rabbits warren of thick walled rooms well decorated and festive for the holidays. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the walking paths outside and the playground across the street. Clean and comfortable. »

« Just returned home from three nights at this lovely lodge. Located in a quiet part of a large site, it is well maintained and immaculately clean. We were blessed with excellent weather and as an added bonus got a display of the Northern Lights. Everything you need is at this lodge, just add food and some wine and you will have a great time. Would not hesitate to book again. »

« The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags. »

« The place is absolutely stunning and we loved the secret door in particular. The fact there was some basic provisions when we arrived was super. The size of the apartment was much bigger than expected, and the decor, although a bit dated was in keeping with the property. The local village was quaint and we enjoyed a meal and drinks at the local pub one night. »

The view of Morecambe Bay was outstanding from the lounge and bedroom where we had morning coffee to watch the sunrise and gin & tonic to watch the sunset very relaxing. All the rooms were a good size loads of storage.The kitchen has everything you need including 2 hobs & a very large fridge freezer. Quiet locaction but only a short walk to the centre of Grange. »
