« The food was delicious , the staff were accommodating and the scenes were stunning. The room we had 39 was a little tired and needed a lick of paint on the walls as there were some patchy paint bits. »

« Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness on Windermere. All the staff we met were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We used the Spa pool and sauna. The breakfast had everything you could possibly wish for. »

« Badly needs bringing into the 21st century. No air conditioning in the rooms, and basic TVs with only Freeview. Need to change to smart TV or at least be able to Chromecast. Rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping unless you ask and when i did on 1 occasion they still didn't do it. I reminded them on reception after waiting 6 hours but still never turned up. In the end i knocked on housekeeping door to get fresh towels myself! Cooked breakfast was nice but very limited options for continental....
