« As a former host of a rental property, we tend to be a bit tough on reviews. Sandee's place was perfect. VERY clean, well stocked, great location. Close to everything, but away from the noise. The beds were cozy and we had everything we needed. »

« I enjoyed my stay. It’s in a beautiful location. I am a 60 year old woman. I was staying by myself and I felt completely safe. I was able to visit friends in northern Maryland, a short drive away, as well as spend a day in Gettysburg. Perfect weekend homebase. »

« Pros: this place was immaculate on cleanliness, comfort is top tier (though the bed was a little firm for me. Their pup wasn’t best welcoming committee. Coffee and fresh farm eggs in the fridge. Plenty of pillows and blankets. No TV at all BUT a great game of apples to apples made our night. The location was super easy to find, beautiful peaceful property with chickens, and I think I saw a cow. Sweet welcoming family as well. Cons: get your information (password for lock, wifi, and...

« We absolutely love this property. Location is great, hosts are great, sauna is great and it is impeccably clean and well stocked. We only got to spend one night this trip but will most definitely be back! »

« The LaVerne guest house was a great place to stay. Very clean and centrally located to everything. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Finding it was a tad difficult since the LaVerne Guest House sign is no longer there, nor the beauty salon. Also, the house number is different than what we were given so the check in instructions should be updated. »

« Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away. »

« This was supposed to have been an anniversary stay. It was not cozy, clean or anything I expected. While the manager was easy to contact. He refused to see the problems with the property. He acknowledged knowing some of the issued and said they could have had maintenance take care of them had I elected to stay. I felt as if that should have been addressed before my stay. I tried to get a partial refund. They refused. We stayed no nights!! When I advised I was going to leave a negative review....
