« A stunning hotel in an incredible location right on the lake, with breathtaking views throughout. The rooms, facilities and overall standard of the resort were excellent, but the real standout was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more special. Would definitely recommend Low Wood Bay and would happily return. »

« Personnel vraiment très accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). « Room very dated. Shower soaks the bathroom. Shower seal hanging off so water poured onto the floor. Bath panel full of grime across the top and room carpet quite stained. Out view was a brick wall. I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. It certainly was not worth £159 »

« Nice hotel , nice garden with places to sit in among the ducks. Clean rooms . Bit unsure on how to get into the model village on site , no information on it anywhere. Got to the gate only to find you needed a ticket from reception which is a good way back up hill so didn’t bother. Sign at reception would have been a good idea. Lovely receptionist when we checked in but the one in the morning was so miserable, never smiled and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there . Having said that...

« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light. I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm...

« Personnel agréable. Établissement adapté aux personnes déficientes visuelle (écriture en braille, chien accepté). Repas du soir pris sur place, très bien. Petit déjeuner sour forme de buffet très complet, viennoiseries excellentes. Chambre : rien à dire, salle de bain : il y avait quelques cheveux aux sols. Piscine très agréable après une grosse journée de marche. »
