« My cousin and I planned this trip so that we could do some biking on the C & O Canal Towpath. We loved that the host provided bikes for our use and were able to hit the trail for a bit in spite of a rainy weekend. The location of the property was ideal for this. We also found several wineries in close proximity and added those to our itinerary since we were not able to bike as much as we would have liked to. The house was very cute and clean and had everything that we needed during our stay....

« It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

« The house was fantastic for our family reunion to attend our son's graduation from Gettysburg. It has so many spaces for people to gather, inside and outside, and more than enough beds and bathrooms. It's only 20 minutes or so from Gettysburg, so easy in and easy out. The view is beautiful and serene, with a gorgeous pool and porch area. Communication was great also. Highly recommend. »

« I’m a frequent visitor to the greater Frederick area meet relatives and friends. This rental was the perfect alternative to the area’s mostly tired and aging hotels. The great location enabled us to get an early walk/run through downtown and Carroll Creek, great food alternatives and a walkable drink at night. Super quiet home with comfortable beds and two separate sleeping areas- just what we needed for 5 adults and 3 separate bedrooms. Highly recommended. »
