TrĆØs unique historique magnifiquement rĆ©novĆ© 1840 Downtown Frederick Log Cabin House. Il nā€™ya vraiment rien de tel chez FrĆ©dĆ©ric. La maison est si proche de tout le centre-ville. C'est Ć  environ dix minutes Ć  pied du canal. La saison des vacances est la pĆ©riode prĆ©fĆ©rĆ©e de mon Ć©pouse au centre-ville de Frederick. Les rues sont toutes illuminĆ©es et sont belles.
Il a toutes les commoditĆ©s d'une maison pour vivre Ć  temps plein. Je lā€™ai amĆ©nagĆ© pour y vivre et jā€™ai dĆ©mĆ©nagĆ© Ć  Hawaii. Tout est flambant neuf en dehors des bĆ»ches pour la cabine et le plancher. C'est vraiment magnifique.
Il y a tellement de choses Ć  faire au centre-ville de Frederick. Il y a des restaurants et des bars Ć  10 minutes Ć  pied de la maison.
J'ai achetĆ© la cabine il y a environ 4 ans. Il n'y avait pas de fenĆŖtres, portes, Ć©lectricitĆ© ou plomberie. C'Ć©tait une rĆ©novation complĆØte pour retrouver sa beautĆ© d'origine avec tous les Ć©quipements modernes. C'est maintenant un endroit super confortable oĆ¹ sĆ©journer.
Il y a un album photo sur la table basse montrant le processus de rƩnovation.
J'espĆØre que vous apprĆ©cierez la cabane en rondins autant que ma famille.

We thoroughly enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay at the 1840 log cabin in Frederick. The home is a completely renovated and modernized log cabin that was very comfortable to stay in and located in a great location. The home is a short 10-12 minute walk downtown, but in a quiet area that is more relaxed with ample parking, etc... Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive. The cabin had great A/C and the kitchen was well stocked to include high quality appliances. We highly recommend this VRBO in Frederick!

Iā€™m a frequent visitor to the greater Frederick area meet relatives and friends. This rental was the perfect alternative to the areaā€™s mostly tired and aging hotels. The great location enabled us to get an early walk/run through downtown and Carroll Creek, great food alternatives and a walkable drink at night. Super quiet home with comfortable beds and two separate sleeping areas- just what we needed for 5 adults and 3 separate bedrooms. Highly recommended.

The property is as described in the listing, and the location was ideal for the purposes of our trip, which was to visit family for a few days. Convenient to shopping areas, restaurants and grocery stores, including Wegmans. Easy to find, and near to the main roads in Frederick. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'd need to make a meal. Appliances are all working well. We only used the master bedroom, but the bed was comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the unit, except for sleeping and some relaxation during the day. Given our age (late 60s), our preference would have been for more supportive cushioning in the living room furniture. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the a/c and heat worked well to keep the place comfortable all day. We're used to brighter lighting at home, and some may find it a bit lower than optimal, especially in the kitchen given the lack of larger windows. All in all, it was a good stay and we would not hesitate to return. Communication with the owner was prompt for the most part, and he was kind enough to provide a number with which to text him in the event of any issues.

Perfect space for our 3-day stay for a family event. Close to lots of restaurants and parks. We practically walked everywhere. The house was comfortable and well appointed. This spacious Log Cabin is an incredible & fun renovation in a very convenient location within short walking distance of a great local coffee/bike rental shop, a local brewery/hamburger spot, & within walking/biking distance to downtown Frederick, parks, etc. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances, the bathroom/showers are nice/large, there is lots of storage room/ large closets. I appreciated the adjustable lighting options, the various cable/streaming television options, the comfy blankets, having a dedicated place to work, and most of all having a private parking spot right next to the front door. Danny is a fantastic and very accommodating host. He was extremely helpful during a difficult time. I would highly recommend this property whether you are in Frederick for work or play.

This cabin was easy to find, with off-street parking, and near the beautiful downtown area. I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was available for any feedback and I would highly recommend this location for families or friends looking to stay in Frederick.

This is my go-to place to stay in Frederick, where I visit a sister often. It is a historic cabin beautifully renovated, very comfortable and clean and in a to die for location: right downtown, close to the night life and restaurants of Market Street but just far enough way so that the property itself is quiet and peaceful. Love it!

I come to Frederick a lot and so have stayed at many of the VRBO properties. This property is the best property I have seen in Frederick in terms of comfort and aesthetic appeal. Everything was super nice and classy from the linens to the dishware. It is in an excellent location within a short walk to Market street and the canal. The host is really nice and very accommodating. I strongly recommend it especially if you want to be downtown.

This house was exactly as described. We are a group of six women who just want to catch up. The living room space was ideal for this. The location is a very quick walk from the shopping/dining area of Frederick. The kitchen is nicely laid out and bedrooms were comfortable. Also, having parking is a bonus. I would love to return.

The home was very well maintained from all aspects, cleanliness, furnishings, kitchen equipment etc. The location allows for easy walking distance to many dining and casual food establishments. Amazing 1840ā€™s fully-renovated log cabin in downtown Frederick! We loved everything about it. The owner has thought of every last detail you would need for a getaway. The location is within walking distance or a short drive to the best in Frederick, right around the corner from Market Street, full of shops, restaurants & venues. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are all comfortable and the layout works perfectly. The owner is quick to respond and great to deal with. Highly recommend this historic and unique property.

We - five related senior citizens - rented the "Log Cabin" for five days and utterly enjoyed our stay. The property is lovingly renovated and well equipped, it is clean and offers ample space for privacy and coming together. The full kitchen is a great plus, but the house is located very close to a variety of restaurants, so meal options abound. Downtown Frederick is charming, fun, and very walkable. Hood College is also within walking distance. Fort Detrick is within an easy car ride, as are a number of historic sites. Danny-the-Host was very responsive by text and even by phone. We had to call him once at an odd time of day, when a thunderstorm tripped a circuit breaker, and he answered immediately. If I were to leave one suggestion it would be to make location of the circuit breaker panel more apparent, to save the trouble for future guests (and himself) in a similar situations in the future :)
