« The house was absolutely perfect for our USNA Reunion. About 10 steps to Gate 1 and just a few more to the heart of downtown made it a weekend we will remember. The host was responsive and accommodated our requests and was very kind. I would definitely stay here again. »

« We stayed at the host property for a long weekend in town for a family baby shower nearby. We were totally impressed with the cleanliness of the location, spacious accommodations and responsiveness of the host. There is a weekend farmers market and we wound up getting fresh produce to cook and some great food and desserts to eat. Parking was a breeze and the nearby park was wonderful for our daily walks. Highly recommended! 10 out of 10!! »

« This place was a great choice for our visit to DC college campuses, the zoo, and the Cherry Blossom Festival. It’s conveniently located to park and ride the Metro on the red line. Parking was a breeze, the kitchen is pretty well set up for feeding a family (it doesn’t have a blender or kitchen towels at this time and the dishwasher racks are on their last leg), and the furniture is all comfortable. « The property looks kind of shabby from the rear, but the inside has been modernized and was extra clean. The kitchen was gorgeous. There are a few places where wear and tear were beginning to show and might need some attention. The bedding was adquate, but not luxury, and the light above the sink in guest bath didn't work. « My husband, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful 5 days at Love Point Idyll. The house is large and beautiful with great views of the bay and wildlife. We took many walks around the property when the weather permitted and when we weren’t visiting nearby DC. The house was well stocked with necessities and Hal was extremely gracious and quick to answer any questions. We had so much fun and the family is eager to go back for another visit. »

« The house is a gem. Very unique older home. Very comfortable and welcoming. Renovations are almost complete. The house is pet friendly. The location is perfect if you enjoy hiking trails, friendly neighbors and a view of the falls. »

« Our 4th time at this property. Manager is responsive and accommodating. The home is comfortable, clean and well appointed. Excellent location in safe, walkable neighborhood. Free street parking. Highly recommend. »

« The house was perfect. While the weather didn't really cooperate still had time to sit on the dock and the porch watching the eagles, osprey, geese, ducks, birds and fishermen. Location near Charlestiwn and NorthEast us freat fir restaurants and shopping »

« We came out from Hawaii to see my Daughter and Grand Daughters.The over all experience from start to finish at the property was easy and flawless. Some days it was just my wife and I and other days it was with my grand daughters spending the night, they also enjoyed the stay. There is plenty of room. « Everything was wonderful with two small exceptions. There were no oven mitts or salt, pepper, spices etc. to help facilitate our personal cooking. With large family we don’t have the option to go out to eat regularly. There is an Aldi’s less than a mile away, which is great. Also there was not much for rags and kitchen towels etc, for cleaning. »

« Our condo had it all; space, kitchen equipment, unbelievable views, and most of all a comfortable bed. The owner thought of everything to make our 4 day stay perfect. »

« We loved the location which had easy access to a trail, we had deer visiting every morning in the front yard, and lots of room for all of us to spread out! The smallest room is the kitchen but we weren’t there to cook. The house had easy access to downtown DC and most importantly the zoo! The towels and linens were clean and aupee soft! We would definitely stay there again! Owner response to any problem was quick and polite! »
