Assez ordinaire dans l'ensemble, chambre à côté de la réception et au dessus de la cuisine donc bruyant et très chaud. Personnel peu présent et peu acceuillant

Bof. A la limite on peut se contenter d"une chambre sur l'arriere. Mais fuyez les chambres sur l'avant, à moins d'apprecier les nuits blanches. "L'Avenue" sur laquelle donne l'hotel est l'artere la plus passante de SH. Avec des chambres non insonorisées (même avec double vitrage) c'est le revuil assuré à 4H du matin .... si vous avez pu vous endormir. Peit dejeuner quelconque. Restaurant à fuir. Rien de correct. Service moyen.

Hi Richard, Apologies your stay wasn't up to standard. Across all 3 buildings, the hotel has gone through a period of renovation including introducing double glazed windows. Our bar and restaurant are very popular with a lot of our guests also. The staff and food offering at the Elizabeth House Hotel is something we take pride in, apologies if this wasn't up to the mark during your stay.

The hotel was nice and personal very helpful. The problem was no elevator. Old narrow staircase, and multiple landings, made it difficult getting bags to the room.

Old home that came with some of the old home issues, ie. plugs not compatible, toilet not flushing etc, but it was quaint and the staff was delightful.

The room was very light & airy with more than enough space. Very conveniently located hotel. The door handles were very tricky to use plus the keylock is too close below the handle making unlocking difficult. Breakfast was a lot later than arranged. Then it took an awful long time to get our cooked breakfast after we were seated in the dining room, having been told to wait in reception before being seated. When the breakfast arrived we had uncooked sausages & the food was luke warm. The sausages were removed & we were informed we would receive another however this did not arrive until we had finished eating. Whilst we understand they were busy it also took a long time to replenish the milk & orange juice. However we would stay here again 😀

Clean and nice decorative, but very limited space. Staffs are nice and friendly. Temperature of hot tube should be adjustable, but couldn’t, it’s a pity that it is not hot enough for us.

Excellent! We were greeted by lovely staff on arrival, at breakfast and on leaving the hotel. The hotel was so clean, the room was warm and decorated to a high standard, could not fault the hotel. The selection at breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and high quality produce, we chose the cooked breakfast which was lovely. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice Hotel
Hotel was clean and tidy, some parts a little dated, other than that fine. Meals in the restaurant were very good. choice though was limited for a 5 day stay. I was concerned that it would be noisy being on the main road into Southampton but it really wasn't.

I think this hotel is very serviceable for a one night port stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. My room was very small, perfect for a solo , but two would be a tight fit and it was billed as a double. Not perfectly clean, dusty behind the bedside but not terrible. Difficult to plug in devices and no USB port. No toilet roll holder, Was told heating came on at 3pm but it never came on but my room was warm enough. Bathroom was clean , towels a bit thin. Breakfast was ok, I would have liked some different bread or pastries, perhaps a crumpet or rolls instead of just toast. All in all , value for money, everything was adequate, however the staff really were exceptional.

Absolutely fantastic staff!! From the lady who greeted me on reception to the gent on breakfast. All the staff I came into contact with were very friendly and professional. Good sized room(27) with large bathroom. Plenty of tea coffee and biscuits. Great breakfast and dined 2 nights and food was of a great standard. Definitely value for money

Great 1 night pre cruise with cruise parking
Great stay for my mum and dad purchased for their 1 night pre cruise. Originally i was going and we had to make amendments last minute which the hotel accomdated for us promtly . Hotel has its own on site car park which was a bonus the 1 night was included then we paid for the nights we where on the cruise and that was at a great price. They have both said they would use this hotel again and would highly recommemd . Thanks for an enjoyable stay !

My inlaws would have loved this hotel: it’s very traditional very Brit, right down to the taps on the washbasin. I liked the cleanliness, and the staff was super. We found our room, though well equipped, depressingly old fashioned and gloomy. Fine for sleeping, but not a room to relax in. The best thing? The receptionist’s recommendation that we go to the Cowherd Pub just up the road. It’s a beautiful old pub and we had a fab meal. We’d make a detour to go there again!

Nice hotel overall but very noisy in night outside. People screaming, etc. Beware if you have disabilities! There is no elevator and you have 21 steps to climb, VERY steep stairs. No bellman to assist. When we complained we were told it was our fault for not asking for ground floor. No offer for assistance.

A really nice hotel, the staff are amazing, very friendly nothing is too much trouble. We had dinner and it was lovely. The room was big and spacious, the mattress could have been better, had a spring in my back. This property doesn’t have a lift so make sure that if you can’t manage stairs ask for a ground floor room. Breakfast was lovely, and again the staff were amazing

Great little find
Hotel was easy to find, situated on a main road. Accomodation was clean and presentable, but a little old fashioned. Food was very reasonably priced and good. The staff made our stay as they were so happy and friendly 😊 Would definitely stay again and will recommend.

We had a superior room. Very large clean and quiet. Stairs are very steep going upto the bedroom, however a quiet night on a sprung mattress. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from St.Marys stadium and come with car parking. Parking can be difficult since they also accommodate cruise liner parker. But the staff with create space. There are a number of breakfast options from cereal, vegan and vegetarian breakfast to the traditional, which is always good in a stay.

Nice location and very helpful staff Old buildings. No A/C Lots and lots of stairs and NO elevators so you have to leave your bigger bags in a room in the lobby We were with people who have back issues so stairs and no lifts were a terrible combination

Good stay before/after a cruise.
Lots of Cruisers stay there. They are very efficient at getting cabs to locations you need to go. Ok Breakfast. Nice dinner options. Very hot. No AC and no mention that fans are on the room. We did not find one. Beautiful crawl foot tub. Spacious bathroom.
