« We had a great time at this cabin! It was comfortable, clean, and beautiful! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Our only regret is not booking for a longer stay. We will definitely be returning! »

« Had a lovely, relaxing couples trip and it was everything was wanted it to be. It was quiet and secluded, a bit of a bumpy road getting there, but worth what you find at the end! We really enjoyed the observation deck, views, nostalgic classic board game selection, and hot tub.The hosts did a great job of making sure everything we needed was available for a comfortable stay. »

« We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable. Shannon was very prompt and responsive, which made communication easy. Great place for a fun time for the whole family—the kids room and provided toys, along with the game room, kept the kids entertained, and the coffee bar was a big hit with the coffee lovers in our group. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after long days. Highly recommend! »

« This was an amazing place to spend the evening/overnight on our National Park road trip. We stopped here between days spent in Harpers Ferry & Shenandoah National Park. The home is beautiful with plenty of space for the family to spread out. The hosts provided lots of special touches (like coffee & coffee filters) which were very convenient for those of us just passing through not wanting to buy groceries for a one-night stop. The only negative is that the AC doesn’t really cool the upstairs...

« This home was more than expected. It’s so spacious and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen cabinets were all labeled so the was no guess work looking for anything needed. We had two pickup trucks and two motorcycle trailers and there was plenty of room for parking in the driveway. If ever in the area again this will be the first place I will look to rent. Communicating with the owners was very easy and quick to respond. Thank you Melissa and Danny. »

« We had a wonderful time! The kids loved the games available and the hot tub. My husband absolutely loved the fire pit and we had a great time at the lake. Will definitely be coming back. »

« The cottage is lovely, with modern kitchen and bath and charming furnishings throughout. Views are wonderful and the location is quiet, set well back from the road. The host is very prompt and courteous in communications. She went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us when I temporarily mislaid the key. »

« We had a wonderful 5-day getaway at the River Perch! The three kids spent hours on the river each day, we went tubing and kayaking, we got to see our dog enjoy her first real swims, and then we got to relax in the very cozy, very clean house with the beautiful front porch view of the Cacapon. Glenn made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for a trip away! »

« Tony was our host. We never saw him. Nor did we get sheets for the bed we slept in. The hot tub was disgusting and appeared to have soap suds in it. There were no bowls in the kitchen. The upstairs shower had only hot water. The downstairs shower had only cold water. There was inadequate seating in the living room for the number of occupants staying there. »

« It wasn't our first stay at the resort, we've been going for many years and it's always been a very good time however this time before we left there was a death in our family. So for that reason alone this time things would be different. So we asked if we could change the dates on my sister's unit because it was her mother n law who had passed away. « The cabin is an absolute gem, located in the mountains but within easy reach of groceries, restaurants, hiking, fishing, etc. The stay was spacious, clean, tidy, had plenty of entertainment options, and communication was timely. Would not hesitate to book again. »
