« Our stay at the cottage was excellent. Check-in was easy and the location was perfect for our family as we were there to visit the caverns. The beds were comfortable and the game room was a nice addition to keep our kids busy. The cottage is in close proximity to restaurants, fast food, and grocery store/market. We forgot a few items and it was nice to run to Walmart quickly to pick a few things up. I'm not sure if this is typical, but I would advise on your bringing your own loofah or...

« We had a great time at the Olive Branch! The room was well outfitted, tastefully decorated with lots of flourishes and a very comfortable bed. It took a few minutes to figure out how to lock the door when we left, but we got it. Oddly the shower had a cloth shower curtain, but no liner. We were able to use it anyway, but either made a soggy bottom if it was inside the shower, or a wet floor if we left it out. « Amazing stay, wish it had been longer. Host is very communicative. Beautiful property, everything was incredibly clean and organized. The view is amazing, we arrived in time to watch the sunset up by the fire pit and we decided we have to come back to explore the area more!Could not ask for a better stop! »

« We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect as it was just minutes from the Appalachian Trail and close to downtown, which made exploring and dining out super convenient. « We were in the Burg for the JMU Thursday night football game. This place was perfect. Just outside of town. Easy drive to campus. Enjoyed a pregame glass of wine down by the pond. Hosts were accommodating. Place is just as advertised. One thing to note, the driveway is easy to miss. We drove by it twice before we found it. »

« This was just what our family needed after staying in a double bed hotel room for several nights previously. The space to spread out and enjoy the quiet of this sleepy little town was refreshing welcomed. Overall, it was clean accommodating and beds, comfortable. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the shower heads make a second housekeeping pass to catch any hair from previous guests. »

« Friendly owner. Came over when I couldn't start the pilot light on the gas wall heater. A few blocks away from some excellent restaurants in the historic district. It's in a remodeled basement with air ducts so head clearance is limited for tall folk. »

« We had an amazing time and my train obsessed 2 year old LOVED that the trains were across the street! They even have a train museum and large model train across the street. There’s an adorable little icecream spot around the corner we walked to and had a blast. The bed was comfy, the studio was super clean and welcoming and it perfectly suited our needs for the weekend. We had a blast at elkton brewing, enjoyed some fresh pizza, local trails and hiked some larger trails on our way out of town....
