« Volcano Village Lodge est un petit Ă©tablissement bien placĂ©, proche du parc national Volcano. TrĂšs au calme au cƓur de la rain forest, nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour. Il dispose en plus d’un jacuzzi accessible facilement. Seules dĂ©ceptions de notre cĂŽtĂ© : lors de notre arrivĂ©e une trĂšs gentille dame nous a informĂ© que nous pouvions accĂ©der Ă  la rĂ©ception pour venir se reposer, prendre un cafĂ©, manger quelques snacks
 sauf qu’elle n’est jamais ouverte. Nous y sommes allĂ© Ă  plusieurs...

« These pictures are totally misleading. This is not a nice place, the outdoor area is especially dirty and not safe to walk it. We thought we would have our own hot tub. NO, it is a long, unsafe walk from the unit and the water looked milky, not clean. It is so dark at night and there are no night lights, so I had a serious fall, still bruised a week later. »

« We were really looking forward to the hot tub and it was the main reason we booked this place. When we looked at it, it was cloudy and dirty. We later found out it was broken. We ended up not staying either of the two nights we booked here. It seems fair to get a some refund since the hot tub was broken. »

« Rick and Katy are straight forward to deal with, providing lots of insider information on out of the way experiences on The Big Island. The view from the common area where you can enjoy the healthy breakfast that Rick and Katy provide is peaceful. The veranda is a perfect place to watch the two goats playing in the yard. The room is very clean with a fridge to store perishables in. The bed is a nice place to relax and get a good night sleep to prepare for the next day's adventure. Lots of extra...

"Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily. The rooms was pretty big, confortable and clean. The communication with the owner and our arrival was easy. We were warned by email that the weather could be chilly because of the rain forest. We were ok, but everyone should be aware that it was about 12 to 15 Celsius early mourning. Also there is a cleaning fee of 80$ that is not mentioned in Expedia web site. Overall, for the price, I would highly recommend this hotel."
