« Charmant petit hôtel de passage, les chambres sont assez confortables. Petit point à revoir sur la literie et la propreté de la salle de bain. Nous y avons dîné 2 fois et la nourriture était bonne. Bon rapport qualité / prix! »

« Andrea and Giles were very helpful and also seemed genuinely interested in their clients. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of hot (freshly cooked )and cold. The b and b is very conveniently located for shops, walking trails, the lake. »

« The suite was great. Two decent sized rooms. Very friendly and helpful people »

« Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space. »

« What a beautiful property finished to a very high standard of decor. Property was spotless, food was excellent and the owner's such lovely friendly people. Secure car parking for the time spent there. Would definitely recommend the Melrose guest house. »

There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...
