We ´particularly aprreciated thé welcoming presents (cake, jam and flowers) and the help given by the landlords. « What a gem! I was so sad to leave the property! Everyone was so charming, the facilities were stunning and the art pieces surrounding the property were magical! « Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again . »

« It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay.
