« This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

« The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out.. »

« The Arches has the potential to be an amazing rental property. Muker is a stunning countryside location, if you don’t mind the long drive over the fells to start any journey. There are some negatives, a few already addressed with the owner, who kindly offered a small refund. No house sign for “the arches” at the property & the key was hidden in thick plant growth.
