« Went for our anniversary and loved it. Excellent service, beautiful restaurant with excellent food and views. Loved the shuttle service to downtown (although was an easy walk had the weather been nicer!) Will definitely return! »

« It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. »

« Such a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. »

Our room is all modern and up todate....a small ice machine is provided in the room with a coffee machine, microwave and mini fridge...outaide is a very clean pool, sandbox, bikes, basketball hoop and a huge firepit area with adarondack chairs which we enjoy sitting around and chatting with other guests....a great night stay and will definitely be back!!!! »

« Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer! »
