Magnifique séjour à l'Hotel Rafayel sur la Tamise
Je recommande cet hotel exceptionnel. Rapport qualité prix au top. Le personnel est absoluement charmant, avec un soucis de satisfaire et de trouver une sollution à chaque problème. Nous avons demandé une chambre avec vue sur la Tamise qui nous a été offerte sans supplément. Navette gratuite pour se rendre à la station de Metro et à la gare de train toute la journée. Par deux fois celle-ci n'a pas été disponible et un taxi immédiatement appelé et réglé par l'hotel. Chambre immense. Lit au Top !! Un peu loin du centre mais tout à fait accéssible avec les transports en communs rapides et pratiques. Une promenade au bord de la Tamise au porte de votre chambre et accès au Spa gratuit. Que demander de plus !! A noter cependant : le personnel ne parle pas Français. C'est l'occasion de s'exprimer en Anglais pour ceux qui le pourront et de revenir avec cette experience en plus. Pour les autres une petit livre Français/ Anglais avant de partir.

The view from the room was good but right under the room there is a what we were told is a restaurant but the barrier to the restaurant is kept in place by broken paving slabs weighing them down by being leant against them Also on the night of our stay there was a party in the restaurant with a dj, this party was so loud we had to complain as we couldn’t get to sleep. We complained twice before anything was done

This place is nothing like it’s advertised, those photos are much older. The place is dated, the linen is cheap & nasty. They advertise it as a 5 star hotel, they must be self appointed. If you’re looking to spend in the £200 a night I would say there are way better options out there.

Stuffly, bad shower, poor experience.
The location is far from the overgound/underground. The room is stuffy. The shower head is weak. The room is dark. I felt like this hotel is 3 stars rather than 5.

Overall it was ok. It has been a few years since I last stayed here. I didn’t get the same feeling, the room I was in needs a little attention I.e tile in bathroom feels loose and carpet areas tattered behind the wardrobe and bar doors. I was also asked to pay a refundable deposit when I arrived, I know this is protocol with hotels but I am usually informed before arrival, this was not the case. Other than that it was ok but I doubt I will be returning again.

The hotel is a 5 star location and the staff are exemplary and the room splendid. Whilst we only had drinks and breakfast at the Banyan on the Thames restaurant - this felt much more 3-4 star than 5

It is a nice property in Battersea area with Thames River promenade. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Rooms are well maintained and clean. The stay was lovely. So if Battersea is the area you want to stay in, there is no better Hotel.

Terrible do not go!
We arrived at 6.30 pm expecting to shower before going out, however the room ws so cold we could not do that. The only way to contol the air con was from the reception desk, as the telephone in the room did not work we had to go downstairs to do this. We did not have time to wait for the air con to alter the temp so had to go out to dinner unchanged. When we arrived back the room temp was fine but it quickly dropped and we were cold all night. Again no hope of a shower inthe morning. Could not possibly return and although we were given a £50 reimbursment it was not enough for a thoughly terrible experience.

I work away from home a lot! One thing I will say is I never heard another person not one door slam nothing! Quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. However despite being very nice the bathroom was starting to look a little bit tired. Breakfast let it down really, the yogurts were warm and the sausages cool! And someone took my plate the second I put my fork down, wasn’t actually finished but too polite to say anything! All that said, I would stay here again due to the peaceful nights sleep.

The property was a great location on the pier for walking and relaxing. The room very clean although one day was missed it was corrected I was there a week I was charged for breakfast even though the room was over $300 a night would be a con and the property seems to serve as a dual apartment building. Staff and restaurant wonderful! I just don’t think the property is worth the cost. You are able to walk to nearly everything and it was very close to Tooting and Balham.
