Other Things to Note:
- Please note the flat is on the first floor and there is no elevator in the property.

The property was charming and ideal for a single traveler like myself. Upon arrival, you find the flat completely spotless and stocked with simple bathroom and kitchen supplies. It is located in the Brixton neighborhood within 12 minute walking distance to the Victoria underground station. There are amazing diverse restaurants and nightlife within walking distance as well. The check in process includes stopping by a convenience store to pick up the keys so it adds an extra step. I am unfortunately giving this property a lower rating due to the property management team, Houst. They were by far the worst experience I’ve had while traveling and renting. They key to the entrance of the flat broke while trying to open the door and I called them - only for them to tell me that they couldn’t do anything about it. According to them, they couldn’t contact a locksmith, I had to wait until the next morning, and that I had to figure out my own stay for that night. They said they would contact me the next morning, and I never heard from them again! Helpless, I called another listed number for maintenance and it was the property owner. Despite them being in a different country, they were by far more helpful. I was able to find a 24-hour locksmith and figured it out all on my own. Not sure what the point of Houst is, as they were unsupportive, disorganized, and unhelpful. For this reason alone, despite the lovely flat, I would not recommend this property to anyone.
