We stayed in the loft room, bed was comfy, bathroom had heated floors and was wonderful. The location is amazing and the rooftop bar was nice to end the night looking at city lights. Excellent restaurants in close proximity, and hotel staff is nice and helpful.

Don’t bother
Sound insulation from outside streets is poor - it’s noisy at night. Sound insulation in room from corridor is also poor. You will be disappointed if you wish to get to sleep and stay asleep much before 12.30. It has no gym on the premises. Decor is quite tired. Lots of chipped paints and a broken cabinet door in my room. I really don’t know why it is 5 rather than 4 stars. I wouldn’t stay here again

Regarding noise form the street it is defiantly our achilles heel of the area and noise from the corridors is the first time something of this nature has been brought to my attention. Don’t upgrade or take the corner room.
Overall the service was not bad. But don’t ever take the corner room. Lots of noise from the street and workers. Lorris and dustbin lorris. From 6 am it’s triblle.

So we arrived very early and the hotel was accommodating with letting us leave our bags, even putting them in our room for when we made it back after our scheduled meetings. However, the first night was a Saturday and the noise out on the street was unbearable, we were on the first floor, and we got little sleep. I know it's not their fault but maybe some better windows should have been installed? When a hotel provides your room with earplugs...yikes! The hotel TOTALLY redeemed itself though the next day. They had called a cab for us to get to the airport. My friend left her purse in the cab (with computer and all documents) so she called the hotel and they managed to get call the driver, have him come right back. She got her purse back and we made our flight. It really is a nice hotel with a great location...the only issue was the noise level.

Great hotel in the middle of the action
Great hotel in a central location for Shoreditch. Bar on roof and downstairs are great. Staff very friendly. Room bigger than average for London with huge windows. Only small downside is noise. For our stay on a Saturday night it was noisy until late. Other than that I look forward to returning!

The rooms are quite worn out and poorly planned. Like dirty carpets, no power outlets by the beds, can’t switch off lights without getting up, no phone directory (had to try many options to call the reception (it’s 00 by the way) Good space thou.

Modernt, bekvämt och med väldigt trevlig personal
Fantastiskt hotel mitt i Coola Shoreditch. Underbar personal och rummen var rena, rymliga och med sköna stora sängar. Det lilla som saknades var uttag för att ladda telefoner etc och det var väldigt högljutt från gatan. Men med öronproppar och sovmask sov vi bra. Läget är super och brasseriet på bottenvåningen perfekt för frukost o små stopp. Den coola takbaren var också ett plus!

We really, really loved our hotel room at the Boundary. It was very light and spacious and so well designed with beautiful furniture (the Eames room). The location is amazing, right in the Shoreditch hotspot, next to great restaurants, shops and public transport. It's hard to think of negatives, but I found two things: at night and in the morning it can be quite noisy due to garbage trucks and partying crowds. On our first night there was a party on the rooftop of the hotel and a woman puked on the pavement near the entrance. And a minor problem: the hairdryer does not get hot. But overall we had a lovely stay and we were sad to leave our comfy and homely room.

Renovations going on at the time of our stay
The hotel lobby/reception /bar/restaurant was being renovated and that caused a great deal of inconvenience. And Albion is now history. But it will probably not have any influence on future stays for future guests

Gorgeous rooms, beautifully designed, particularly loved the large chair to stretch out in after long day. It was noisy - perhaps as to be expected in this part of town - but the hotel so provide ear plugs.

The room was great and quirkily decorated with interesting art. The bed was large and really comfortable with a good, firm mattress. The bathroom was large and luxurious and the shower was hot with great water pressure. The downside was we could hear everything that went on in the streets nearby. This really disturbed our sleep until 4:30am with people shouting, cars and buses diving by and beeping horns and loud music from nearby. The hotel provides earplugs which helped somewhat but still didn't help provide a restful sleep.

Along with the aesthetics as each room as they are all individually designed representing an iconic designer or movement in time. As you are probably aware the noise is somewhat out of your control and I can only apologise if it disturbed you whilst staying with us. As you have experienced, Shoreditch has a dynamic and convivial atmosphere which can be its greatest asset and sometimes its Achilles heel. It being the bank holiday weekend when you stayed with also must have heighten the noise coming for the street and as we are a second grade listed building it does restricts us from how much we alter the exteriors but will definitely look into alternative options to ensure guests have a peaceful stay. Was staying for 2 nights but luckily had work in London on the Friday and Monday so ended up staying for 4 nights. Was such a marvellous stay from start to finish. Felt like I had a really central apartment the vibe was so right. Really chilled out, but loads going on in the area, good choice of eating / drinking at the rooftop, or more casual albion cafe below. Room service was great too - same menu and could get cocktails or anything from their normal menu. And the team were so nice, really helpful and recognised you. Was just the perfect base for a long weekend of work or catching up or going out. All three worked. Room was awesome too - spacious with loads of cool features. Big clean bath and comfy bed. Loved it.

Nice hotel but noisy
Cool hotel but very noisy - couldn't get any sleep.
