Appartement idĆ©alement situĆ© Ć  quelques stations de mĆ©tro des principaux monuments et attractions. L’appartement est trĆØs propre et joliment agencĆ©. Le quartier est vivant mais calme, plein de charme. TrĆØs joli canal Ć  2 minutes Ć  pied. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© trĆØs bien accueillis par les propriĆ©taires.

This apartment was delightful: clean, well equipped, and in an attractive neighborhood that was well worth exploring in its own right and had easy access to central London by subway and bus. We especially enjoyed walking along the Regent’s Canal just two blocks away. Mrs. Redstone, the owner, was efficient and welcoming. We would happily stay here again.

This flat is the perfect option for your next trip to Europe if you are looking for a great location, proximity to train station, spacious apartment + reasonable price in London. The flat is a few blocks away to the train station and also close to many many shops and restaurants. You feel like a "local" walking and living the experience of London. The owner is very responsive and welcoming.

We, two visitors from Germany, spent five days in Islington. The apartment was in an immaculate condition, even more beautiful than in the photos. We also liked the beautiful location of the apartment with its good shopping facilities and its great restaurants. In the neighbourhood, there is a good pub/restaurant, where we went for dinner almost every day, late in the evening. Islington is a nice place to be with its Camden-Passage and the surrounding streets. All places in London can be reached by busses or by the underground very quickly. Also very impressing was the walk along the banks of the canal to Victoria-Park. Karen was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Everything was very well organized. Many thanks !

The flat was in a great location in central London, close to the Ange tube station and High Street/Upper Street Islington. There are great restaurants in very close walking range and easy walks to St. Paul's and the the South Bank area. The flat is clean and well appointed, with everything you need for the stay. We were spending two weeks visiting our daughter in grad school and had a very comfortable stay. It was far superior to the flat we had rented in Fitzrovia in 2016 both in terms of the flat itself and the neighborhood. It is a garden flat, which means you are in the basement, but there are plenty of windows and natural light in both the front and back of the flat. It is actually nicer than the pictures online indicate. Karen was very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this flat.

Perfect location for seeing London day and night. Great apartment close to Angel station. Use an Oyster card for convenient bus and underground transport to everything.... including Heathrow and the Eurostar. Angel Islington apartment is fantastic. Well appointed and extremely comfortable, it's location is simply amazing. In a lovely quiet area, everything is on your doorstep.....cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and the transport options are endless. During my 2 week stay I did not take a taxi once. Easy walk to Angel Station and also Highbury & Islington Station as well as plenty of bus options which will take you straight to Oxford Circus, Marble Arch, Waterloo etc. You can be at Borough Market within 20 mins. This was my first stay in Islington and I found it to be simply charming. Camden Passage is lovely with its quaint local shops. Regents Canal is nearby where you can walk to places such as Broadway Market on a Saturday and sample the beautiful fresh produce. Loved Appestat cafe for its coffee and friendly atmosphere, the Duke of Cambridge and Narrowboat pubs are great and enjoyed dinners at Brother Marcus, Nem Nem and Ottolenghi. Mrs Redstone the owner was fantastic to deal with and extremely helpful throughout my stay. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and will definitely look to stay again when I next visit London.

The Angel Islington apartment was comfortable, cozy, well appointed, and very much as described. It met all our needs and the location was great. The Owner was very responsive and helpful. The apartment is close to great restaurants, groceries, and local pubs. Angel Station was about a 5-7 minute walk. Camden Passage shops and restaurants is a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely consider this apartment again in the future.

We enjoyed our 5 weeks staying in this flat, close to shops, restaurants & cafes. The flat was very clean with extra linen if needed. The kitchen was well appointed & bathroom satisfactory, shower compact. The Owner was very particular with her flat & this showed in the way it was presented. The Owner was most considerate & helpful - thank you. The only fault we experienced was occasional noise front the flat above particularly over the bedroom.

We stayed at this charming flat at the beginning of July. It was a perfect location for my husband, myself and teen daughter. The Angel tube station was a short walk away. We wish we had more time explore the Islington area, but we did eat at the Narrow Boat Pub along the nearby canal. There are many shops to explore along the high street as well. It was so nice to have a comfortable place where we could have breakfast before leaving for the day and handy to do a bit of laundry. The owner is very nice and very easy to get in touch with. We highly recommend this flat and would definitely stay there again.

Great little flat in a wonderful location! Small but not unusual and family of three fitted well. Comfy, well kitted out (able to cook easily, and do washing and drying, as well as watch the World Cup and use WiFi...all you need!!) and clean. Owner was lovely and super accommodating and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more! Oh, and the area was truly wonderful...great restaurants and a lovely neighborhood feel....and a short walk to the underground (Angel) either via a lovely little shopping strip Camden Passage, or along Regents Canal. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Very nice flat in a terrific location, 7 minute walk to the Angel Tube. The flat is modern, functional, and comfortable, although the bathroom and shower are tiny but functional. We loved the neighborhood. Lots of great food, including the Duke of Cambridge right across the street, Appestat, and Ottolenghi on Upper Street. Saint Espresso in the Pentonville Road is good for picking up your coffee beans to make your own coffee in the flat. Mrs. Redstone was a very gracious and helpful host. Thanks for a great visit!

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a huge number of books, maps, and pamphlets about the London area. The kitchen was big enough for all our needs, making breakfast, etc. The living room/dining room was great for 3 of us to hang out in. For most of our stay it was just 2 of us. There are many restaurants in walking distance. We loved Ottolenghi, for a memorable dinner. (Owned by the chef who wrote the Jerusalem cookbook ). We also went to the King's Head theatre and saw the Mikado by Gilbert & Sullivan. Both are in walking distance, as are some great pubs. On Tue night we took the underground to Camden, to Cecil Sharp House and participated in their folk music club. I actually got up in front of everyone and sang a ballad. It was awesome. It was really easy to get everywhere we wanted to go on the underground. We would stay here again, if we were back in London.

We very much enjoyed out stay in Islington. The apartment was conveniently located with easy access to the tube and bus lines, supermarkets, and restaurants. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and offers plenty of room for two people. Note that access for people with mobility concerns may be a challenge (it is a basement flat with narrow stairs). There is some street noise in the bedroom but it was not bothersome. Karen was a fine host. She was willing to accommodate our travel schedule and quickly addressed the few concerns we had. We would certainly consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay and found Islington a great location to get around the city. Made a dan Edward were quite helpful in getting settled in. One note- this is a basement apartment. Important for anyone with difficulty getting up and down stairs.

The delightful owner welcomed us on arrival from an overnight flight and made sure we were oriented and settled. The flat had everything we needed for a fulfilling time with friends and family. Karen was always available, but never needed since her introduction was so complete.

The flat is extremely comfortable and well laid out, with everything thought of for convenience as well as style. The location is quiet and attractive, and very convenient for transport, etc. Our host could not have been more charming, more welcoming, or more helpful. We liked everything about this stay. Circumstances dictated that we book very much at the last minute, so we couldn't have been more pleased to have found this situation, when we might have felt bound to take "pot luck."

Good restaurants and shops nearby so whether eating in or out, we were spoilt for choice. A lovely welcome from Karen who was very helpful beforehand giving information about the rail strike. Our first experience of using Homeaway and a very positive one.
