« Love the house! Will definitely try to book again if we're in the area. House was super clean and definitely plenty of parking area if hauling trailers. Listing says two bathrooms, so I figured one would be a half bath. Both bathrooms were full size, which was really convenient. »

« We just loved this stay!! Everything was just as described, but with some aspects that words and photos don’t capture. Such Amazing energy in this place!! Great combination of modern, industrial, simple craftsman, and so much character! The view of the river and the various wildlife we got to enjoy made you feel like you were pretty isolated, yet conveniently located in town. We will definitely be back and will always try to stay here! »

« We flew out from Arizona to attend our Son's graduation from Syracuse University. Our stay at the lake house for 5 nights was wonderful. The house was clean and Miles was very inviting. The location was great and we had a wonderful time.I truly wished we extended our stay for a little long. Thank you for allowing to stay at your beautiful lake house we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend your lake house. »

« The house was very clean and conveniently located for both families to travel to. The wedding reception we were invited to did not want children to attend. So with the games in the basement, our children were well entertained for the afternoon. It was a rainy day, so being outside wasn't an option. This was perfect for them and grandpa. »

« My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure! »

« This is our second time staying here and we had a blast! Beautiful view of the lake, we swam, kayaked and just chilled by the water. Very clean and host is extremely responsive. Highly recommend! »

« Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house! »

« The upstairs unit had a generous deck with lovely views of the canal that goes out to the lake. A quick walk across the street and you can catch an incredible sunset! Inside the house we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean. I highly recommend. »

« Perfect house for us - 2 families. Beautiful house. Clean. Kids loved the game room - played cornhole and ping pong. We’ve been coming to Old Forge for years and years. 1st house that has provided bedding, towels, household items (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc etc). Homeowner responded quickly to texts. Good time had by all! »
