« Artist cottage was a comfortable well furnished and clean property. It was within walking distance of Harrogate and handy for visiting surrounding area. There is a railway line to rear but it wasn't intrusive. Our only concern was the extremely steep wooden stair to bedrooms and with the bathroom being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. So, I would say not for the older guest or anyone with walking difficulties. »

« We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future! »

« Amazing property, lovely location, great communication from host and comfy beds. Perfectly clean, only the fridge and freezer could have done with a clean. Would have been useful for the soap/shampoo etc dispensers to be labelled as to which was which. »

« We absolutely love the victorian terraced house. It was beautiful as well as functional with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. Also the hosts left use with a lovely welcome basket with all the essentials plus! Artisanal bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea, snacks and even a bottle of red wine and champagne. It was so lovely and inviting!! »

« The views at this cottage are outstanding, we had the most amazing sunrises and sunsets and loved just relaxing at the property watching the view. The property just needs a little bit of TLC to get 5 stars, front door handle wasn’t working properly, a fair few loose screws etc in chairs and tables which meant they were rickety, which we had to tighten up and some broken outside furniture. Also watch out the track is a farm track and a bit bumpy … fine in any SUV/4x4 but for normal saloons etc...

« Was in a great location however it didn’t say that it was an end terrace with a path at the running the length of the house. Also it didn’t mention that there were steep slippery steps to get on to the rear garden which again was just a slab and deck area which wasn’t a garden as such. Living area very small and if at full occupancy wouldn’t be able to fit everyone in. TV & internet not great and had to keep refreshing to get connection. Could do with a bit of TLC. Cheaply done throughout with...

« We stayed for 5 night while visiting relatives over Christmas. The house was very welcoming - a Christmas tree had been installed and the owner had kindly supplied some food and wine to get us started. The house is near the hos[ital and just a short stroll to the centre with its shops, bars, restaurants etc. At the end of the street and closeby here were take away outlets and a Onestop shop for milk etc. »
