« We arrived early and we were kindly allowed use of the spa, pools, sauna and steam room. Service is second to none. We would have liked to have eaten at Sean Rankin’s restaurant but, unfortunately there was a wedding being held there. Our meal in Fletchers was very good. Our (cosy) room was on the top floor but next to the lift, which was fortunate. Everything was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very efficient room service. »

« Valentino’s is an absolute gem! Fabulous staff who were friendly and super courteous. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, very clean and with quality toiletries. We ate here too, it was no problem to set up a table outside for us, the food was fantastic! Breakfast too did not disappoint with amazing polite service and Italian food to die for! Will definitely find an excuse to go back to Ripon so that I can stay here again!! »

« A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend »
