« The room was great with nice bunk beds and Screens. However, we could not sit in the lower level bunk beds because of the upper bed and there was no place to sit. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay. »

« Had a wonderful stay at Cedar Retreats this weekend. The lodge was very modern and looked like new. We spent a great deal of pur time in the hot tub which was so relaxing and very warm. Overrall we had the most laid back chilled weekend which is exactly what we wanted. Thank you Cedar Retreats. Would definitely recommend. »

« A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend »

« Arrived on the Friday to fantastic and clean cabin. All the bedding and kitchen utensils were provided, including cooking oil. The garden the cabin sits in is beautiful and sitting out on the balcony at night having a bbq and beers was well worth the travel. All in all it has been a brilliant weekend and I would highly recommend staying here, I know I will be coming again. »

« Went to Masham with friends the village is beautiful, the local pubs Kingshead, Bay Horse we frequented most of our 3 days and the staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for you. Met friendly locals and had a good laugh with the butcher, there’s plenty of local shops bakers, grocery and the cake/sweet shop which one of my friends bought all of the lemon drizzle cakes. We had a tour at The Black Sheep Brewery a must if you go to Masham and food there is excellent. Thank you Michelle, Morton House...

« My daughter’s , grandchildren and I stayed at Morton House for 2 nights whilst visiting the Polar Express (15 minutes drive away). The house was large , warm and welcoming. Children had a ball chasing each other around . Beds are extremely comfortable with quality bedding . Everyone slept very well . Perfect location , visited local churches and park , walked by the river .. Communication from host,, Michelle, was excellent. she even downloaded Polar Exoress film on Sky so the kids could watch...
