« Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back »

« Wonderful place to stay and would stay again. Only negative things were that the room was very warm (no instructions on how to turn the heating down) and there was a really bright green (escape route?) light above the door which was on through the night and so made it difficult to fall asleep. Both issues easily remedied. My companion had no issues with her room so would thoroughly recommend! »

« Two adults and 2 children stayed in no2 cottage. A compact one bedroom cottage with a large comfortable bed and sofa bed in sitting room. Kitchen has all you need for short stay. Vehicles kept in gated area, so very secure. Stu and his wife are friendly, their breakfast was excellent quality for price (additional charge). This must be the cheapest pub in the UK.(£3 pint) Overall we had a very pleasant 3 nights. Thank you. »

« Nice friendly welcome from the gentleman working the bar on arrival Thursday 23rd October around 2pm, booked in and explained about breakfast, evening meals, on-site parking and what was happening at the pub over coming days. Shown to our room which was nice and bright, very clean and comfortable. The building dates from the 1700s so expect uneven floors and squeaky floor boards and lots of character in a nice way and things that catch your eye. Beautifully dressed for Halloween. "Hôtel correct mais ne correspond pas aux standards d'un 4*. Il n'y avait pas de rampe pour les valises. Les personnes à l'accueil étaient très agréables lors de notre arrivée mais plutôt désagréables lors de notre départ. La douche n'est pas pratique, n'ayant pas de pommeau, et il n'y avait qu'un bonnet de bain pour deux. Le chrome cast était défaillant. La vue et la literie étaient agréables."
