« This cabin was so cute inside and perfectly located just north of Bar Harbor. The location on the water with access to a tidal flat provided amazing views. Our group had so much fun harvesting mussels right outside and cooking them ourselves. Clean and cozy interior. Only notes would be the skylights in each room do not have shades to shield you from waking up at 5am to the sunrise, and the driveway required 4 wheel drive on our truck to navigate the steepness and loose gravel »

« Truly exceptional stay! The home was beautiful, so well appointmented, comfortable and clean! The host has really gone above and beyond to make this a wonderful place to stay. From the black out shades in the bedroom to the book of recommendations they put together for guests about the area, it's clear they put a lot of time and effort into the guest experience!The host was so responsive and kindly left us local goodies to try. « Awesome location! Very nice price! All the conviences without the tourist hysteria of Bar Harbor! You can be to acadia in less than an hour, also the castine area even quicker. Ellsworth, Brewer, Bangor have everything ypu could possibly need. The lake was quiet, clean, warm, loaded with wildlife. We hope to stay longer in the future.Only cons are water pressure ( not aweful), and if you like to cook a lot, it could use newer and more pots, pans, and skillets. And maybe a bigger grill, but we...
