Not too bad but need to improvethe welcome
At the checkin, the desk was cold and not really customer oriented. We felt not comfortable. Note that only few of customers are wearing a protection mask even if the governement consider it as mandatory. The room looks old but is clean. The breakfeast is available which is a good point, but only to take away, then limited. Forget your continental breakeast in this period..

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la région
Hôtel situé à un croisement d autoroute : Cardiff 40 minutes, Bristol 10 minutes, Bath 30 minutes. Idéal pour rayonner. Chambre rénovée et très propre, la literie est très bonne et l endroit est très calme : pas de bruit extérieur. Le petit dej est très copieux et varié bien qu un peu cher. Le personnel est toujours souriant.

Very outdated hotel which has old furnitures and bathrooms needs full renovation. Nightly charge was £299.00 without breakfast per night which is 3 times expensive than averagd in that area . Wouldn't give more 3* for this hotel.

Pool was small and full of children, hot tub was unbearable (hot!) rooms were tired and dirty, shower was very small, no mini fridge, beds uncomfortable, not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately we arrived and Expedia had over booked us for a family room. But the amazing staff soon sorted it for us and we ended up have the most amazing stay. I highly recommend the hotel. Bar meals or room service not so much very expensive for what you get if I’m honest. But can’t fault the hotel stay or staff.

Have stayed here several times now and will do so again. Staff all very friendly and lovely to be greeted with warm cookies. Disappointed that the sauna and steam weren’t working this weekend but otherwise very happy with our stay.

The room was excellent. Check out slow (system blamed) staff uncommunicative. Restaurant food good enough but very slow service and waitress was defensive bordering on rude when we complained, blaming kitchen staff, which was not our problem but theirs to sort out. Shame as decent hotel.

Most of the rooms in parts of the older/dated part of the hotel are without heating. We were lucky and were moved to one of the new rooms or we would have stayed elsewhere. Clearly, judging by the number of heaters around the property this has been an issue for some time. Confirm you will have a room with heating if staying here. Offered free parking as compensation but just noticed they still charged for both nights anyway. New 1000 numbered rooms are lovely. Older rooms are dated with lots of damaged to furniture. In room coffee provided for one of two nights only.

The staff at check in were excellent , I requested a ground floor room due to being temporary movement difficulties, was asked if preferred shower over bath or walk in , again due to temporary difficulties the walk in shower was ideal. We had a room in the new extension which was brilliant even the TV was one of the best in size for a hotel bedroom we have seen. Only one negative during our stay was shortly after check in and sitting at the main entrance the duty manager decided to give a member of the checkin staff a roasting for whatever , our daughter like myself has managed large teams and in no way would we talk to a member of staff in front of others the way the lass had to endure even worse in front of guests.

Booked 3 rooms Arrived at reception to be told they only had a booking for one room. Totally unhelpful and did not try to resolve. Spent 45 minutes sat in reception whilst we contacted hotel.com support, they then arranged for the hotel to provide us with the 3 rooms we booked. Why could the hotel staff not help us? or even offer a complimentary cup of coffee whilst we sorted it out with hotel.com Pretty poor customer service from Hilton. Thank you to Hotel.com for sorting it out with the hotel

Very comfortable stay
Very comfortable stay. The bedroom was well equipped, clean and the bed very comfortable. A good sized and clean swimming pool with a whirlpool pool, sauna and steam room. The sauna was excellently hot. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I asked for soya milk in my room for tea and vegan options for breakfast and was helped with these with no fuss. A very pleasant stay and I will book here again.

Well presented hotel. Foyer and bar are great. Staff were welcoming, even got free cookies on arrival. Room was spacious and clean. The pool was a decent size and changing rooms were fine. Would recommend.

The issue we faced that there were no room available by the time we arrived there even after booking was confirmed we had to wait for awhile, but staff was helpful to sort it out in half an hour time so at the end it was all okay, but I will double check it from the next time onwards

Good room. Safe was locked and couldn’t be opened. We were offered another room but as we were only staying one night opted to stay put. The pool etc was not well run. Reception was in manned for a long period. The towels left in the changing room floor were not cleared up. The meal however was good and they dealt with our needs very well.

Almost like they didnt know folks were due to stay
Surely a hotel which doesnt have walkins for the restaurant can anticipate how busy theyre going to be. Waited an hour, gave up waiting and asked for a refund..got home and realised id been charges twice. Rooms ok. Bit noisy with kids in half term

Great stay overall
The staff were very friendly and helpful.. The pool was great for myself with mobility issues and my 10yr old gramd daughter. The room wasnt 100% clean. Found serviettes by the bedside cupboard. Also there were sweets and something plastic by the desk .
