Séjour correct
Hôtel plutôt propre et moderne. Chambre plutôt propre et fonctionnelle. Difficulté pour régler la température mais nous n’avons pas eu froid. En revanche, je n’ai jamais eu de réponse à mes mails pour savoir si nous pourrions manger à l’hôtel (soir de noël). En arrivant on nous a dit oui, puis non. La communication n’est pas leur fort! Mais sinon bien dans l’ensemble!

In town with colleagues for work, we enjoyed our one night stay. Location is around the marina with all kinds of food, supermarkets. Breakfast was amazing.

Point positif .super chambre hormis des bouchons de champagne sous le lit problème de nettoyage. La chambre et les parties communes sont très agréable et jolie vue sur le port . Négatif.le personnel est froid et peu accommodant,étrange pour un hôtel de cette gamme . L hôtel se trouve au calme près de la marina

The entrance to the hotel isn’t well signposted from the boardwalk. Our room wasn’t ready when we tried to check in at 4pm. They did explain this was due to late check outs but that seems unfair to people trying check in.

Friendly and helpful staff, very convenient for the Brighton Marina area (which was where I needed to be). A large Asda supermarket, and a ton of restaurants in easy walking distance. Good, frequent, GBP 2 bus service into Brighton itself if that's where you need to be.

Fabulous weekend. Parking free and convenient in local marina stack. Short walk to hotel which sits in the marina amid eateries and bars. Lovely greeting and easy check-in. Room clean and practical, breakfast superb- served cooked plates and generous continental and impressive coffee machine. We enjoyed eve cocktails and late nightcap on return from Brighton Centre show in the welcoming and attractive bar area. All staff happy and friendly. Thanks for a great weekend stay.

The hotel is a bit tired but staff friendly and breakfast was nice. A bit noisy and built in a concrete jungle of other properties which made arrival at night not very inspiring. But first thing in the morning some nice views out across the marina.

The Malmaison itself is decent, located by the marina so if you upgrade to a sea view it’s lovely. The view the other direction less so- it’s a tired looking mostly empty shopping development and Asda carpark. Below the hotel on the boardwalk are a selection of chain restaurants -Pizza Express, Nando’s, Zizzi, Prezzo and a TGI, McDonalds and Five Guys a couple of minutes walk away. No independents that we noticed which is a shame. Free parking is a bonus. But, it’s not in the main town and not really walkable so you’d have to drive into town and pay the extortionate parking prices to experience Brighton’s character.

We arrived to the most vile place ! Nothing like the pictures Stains all over the furniture We checked in looked at the room and checked out got a full refund !!! It’s horrible the location the hotel all of it ! 4 hour round trip we went home !

Cool hotel at a reasonable price
The hotel gave me European vibes. Clean, tidy, nice bar and room had a little balcony over the marina which was wicked. It is a good location to grab a taxi, bus or even walk into Brighton. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. I would stay again and would recommend it.

Ideal for business trips. Nice location and professional. This is the 4th hotel in the area I've recently been at for work purposes and the best for it. Malmaison Oxford is a nice restaurant too. I haven't been to Brighton since I was a baby so can't remember visiting but this hotel is good if needing something more efficient. The other hotels in the area aren't as good. Good WiFi, restaurant and bar, nice room and good views by the waterfront.

Nice hotel in a good location on the marina. Plenty of free parking across the road and lots of options for evening meals in the marina area. Comfortable rooms if on the smaller side. Small but well designed bathrooms and nice shower. Friendly and helpful check-in. Overall a good choice for staying on the edge of Brighton.

Nice night away
I had a lovely room over looking the marina. There was plenty of things to do in the local area plenty of restaurants and entertainment i.e mini golf,bowling,cinema and casino. we ate In the restaurant which was great and food was very nice.

Hotel was good - but I was not a fan of the area. It’s part of the Marina complex which is a bit of weird outpost and cut off from the rest of the city. A selection of chain restaurants but all a bit soulless with an ugly multi-storey car park (free at least) and a huge Asda to welcome you. Hotel was absolutely fine but I won’t return due to the overall location which was not for me

Lovely view of the marina from Our room , it’s a really lovely hotel a bit further away from the lanes , but it’s only a lovely walk along the promenade , or a quick taxi ride . Will come back and explore the Marina next time 😀

We had a shower the shower head fell off and the reception ordered a taxi never came

Nice hotel for short trip
Good hotel for short stay and few restaurants around. Would have been better if the weather was nicer. Car park is free and is only a short walk.
