Our first stay in a Z Hotel and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well equipped - thank you for the larger than normal coffee cups in the room! Complimentary cheese and crackers in the afternoon (lovely!) and we had an inexpensive but really lovely breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Customer service was exceptional.

This hotel is in such a convenient location with lots of dining and drinking options around! The rooms are quite small, but we didn't need to spend much time in the room anyway since we were too busy exploring! Staff was so sweet and welcoming, and we just adored this hotel and location!

This was my first time visiting Bath and staying at a Z Hotel, and I was really impressed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. Liam at reception offered great local tips and chatted with me while I enjoyed the free evening wine. Richard, the Manager, was also lovely and had a great sense of humour. The room was spotless, stylish, and surprisingly spacious, with one of the best showers I’ve ever used. The location is ideal — right in the centre near pubs and restaurants, yet completely quiet inside. It’s also only a 5 minute drive from the train station. Breakfast was well worth it — fresh food, a great selection, a peaceful atmosphere, and top-notch barista-style coffee ☕ I will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bath ❀

I recently stayed at a hotel in Bath and found it to be a mixed experience. The location was absolutely ideal—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore charming streets, historic sites, and nearby restaurants on foot. The front desk staff truly stood out for their warm hospitality and professionalism. They were attentive and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. However, the room did not quite match expectations, particularly when compared to the photos online. It was noticeably smaller, which made the stay feel a bit cramped. Additionally, I noticed several cleanliness concerns, especially around the room ladder/stairwell, which could benefit from more regular attention to detail. In short, a fantastic location and stellar staff, but the experience could be improved with more accurate room descriptions and a few housekeeping upgrades.

This room was incredibly unique. It featured two queen-size beds stacked on top of each other, more akin to a boat stateroom than a hotel room. It was a bit of a shock to see everything so compact, but surprisingly, everything was comfortable, quiet, and dark. The area outside the property was also amazing, located right in the heart of Bath. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

Liked friendly efficient staff. Bed comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Cafe good. Did not like light switch out of reach of bed, tiny waste bin, no towel rail, insecure wifi (no password protection), only one electric socket,limited channels and no subtitles on tv.

Great location, but not ideal for families Pros: The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the Roman Baths, Jane Austen Centre, and Parade Gardens, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cons: We’re a family of four (with two teenage boys), and the largest room available was surprisingly small, with no windows and very limited lighting. It felt more like sleeping in a cave, which really threw off our circadian rhythms over our 3-night stay. The room was also missing basic amenities like a tissue box and hair conditioner. Housekeeping is only provided after the second night, which isn’t ideal for longer stays. There’s no gym on-site, and the “happy hour” was just a single glass of wine—underwhelming for the hype. Overall, this might work for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a very dark, minimal space—but not a great fit for families or those looking for comfort and natural light.
