A gas grill is also on-site to grill some steaks, should you decide to. Beds are comfortable. Owners take great care to make sure your experience is as good as it can be. »

Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. I did like that the code to the door was just texted to us so we didn't have to really check in at any given time. « Truly river-front, without trains between the cabin and the river...not usual for Mississippi River rentals. Super-clean and incredibly well-furnished and set up! Best bed we ever slept on. Cabin comes with a canoe and virtually anything your heart desires. Easy bicycle-proximity to Trempealeau center, Perrot State Park, the marsh trails, and Trempealeau 'lakes' for great kayaking. « I am absolutely amazed at how clean the cabin and bathrooms were. No paper towels you get a new cloth towel each time you wash your hands! Parking was tight on the top of the hill there is ample parking about 100 feet away. There is opportunity to make the “backyard” more than what it is.
